im talking about professional players. and there is a huge difference in knuckling a dead free kick opposed to a moving ball. and the ball dosent matter, a ball with no spin/ little top spin is a knuckle ball, the difference is how it knuckles which is mainly related to how many seams and panels the ball has.

the ball ronaldo shots here is a teamgeist, it dosent knuckle, it drops fast because of the topspin. an ascente would do exactly the same. i agree the nike balls dosent wobble, but knuckle isnt all about wobbling its dipping too. the "knuckle" expression comes from baseball, and in baseball knuckleballs drops fast, or "breaks" as they call it
