  • Just a quick correction. Lateef is not Kurdish, he is Azeri-Turk (from Iran).

  • This movie is very much like Japanese movies, same level of sensitivity.......he is lucky ,they never got to her nagging the pants off him on daily basis..(in reality!)

  • thank you sooo much for uploading this movie..simply loved it..!!!

    amazing story..

  • amazing ending he got happy when it rains makes him think of her name and her

  • amazing movie. pity, iranians can love like this in real life. shallow, materialistic, depressed hopeless ppl,be khoda

  • i am speechless with the ending...

  • what a beautiful story. it is the first time i watch iranian movie. what an incredible story. that footprint in the memory ending really the best message we get from this movie.

  • Very nice movie though I didn't expect it to end in this way. The other Majidi's film I've watched too had such enxepected, unanswered ending..

  • its a poetic movie , thanks for uploading this movie......

  • impressive how Iran, inspite of their political autocracy and religoius dogmas can can produce movies of this level and great directors. Not surprising if considered the country's rich cultural heritage, though... what an aesthetic narrative! what a movie! and what an UPLOAD!

on a casual and lighter note, this girl, Baran seems to have butter fingers, she keeps droping objects, when they r heavy and when they r light as well!!! not bad if that earns u an admirer like Lateef, ofcoarse!!

  • @moulindra weak men need even weaker women.

  • @moulindra very well said =)..i too was wondering how many times she dropped the stuff..but brilliant performance on her behalf

  • I'm a Malaysian and i loveeeeee this movie. thanks for uploading!

  • Continue .. Our prophet Mohammad didn't behave like this with salman farse in an Arabic country they didn't called him farse kisafat !!! So why for god sake why???

  • By the way I just wana ask you my Persian brother that why you guys hate them in Iran what's your problem. Those people really works hard to built your country they are also Shia Muslim and Persian speaking group. I know they are not afghan because afghan is related to Pashtun and they are skin color is much more whiter then you guys and also cleaner so why you guys called them afghani kisafat ??? Why you guys are so raciest. If you are Muslim? Our prophet Mohammad didn't behave like this to s

  • Wow it finished like that?? But that was a really good movie, first Persian movie I watched :')

  • thank you for uploading this. long live islamic Iran

  • very nice, moviie.......thanks for the whole team behind this great work.

  • SO whats the point of this movie????

  • @dheer1um Are you kidding?????????

  • @matxosca no... total waste of time... the people who made/watched this movie wasted their time except for the unemployed actors who got paid and hence can eat for 3 more days.

  • @dheer1um So did you watch the movie? Actually is a beautiful story (from my point of view), everybody interprets art in different ways. A movie doesnt need to have the end u expect to give u emotions. The girl left a "footprint" in the life of the main character, and in the end all his effort and money for getting close to her pay him back, with a memory. He was satisfied with it. Money is not everything in life! Sorry for my bad english, and if you didnt like the movie, i respect your opinion

  • Thank you Sujogya, for uploading such a beautiful movie.

  • Has anyone else noticed that the girl does not say a single word in this movie (besides that tiny bit of singing) yet the emotion in her eyes speaks for her?

  • I want to recoment another great movie which I saw yesterday , dont know the name in English but in french it's called " Separation" - it won an award too

  • So real and so silent... the people are real and the emotions so intense yet stum... so beautiful. I am in love with this movie!!! Thanks again for uploading,

  • This is real cinema; not item number based, propaganda infested, anti-Pakistan-centric bollywood garbage.

  • This movie makes me cry..

    always!!

  • Thank you brother for uploading. I am a huge fan of Iran and Iranian culture.

Thanks again and Peace and love from Pakistan!

  • very sad, but thats the reality!

  • I am a Chinese, this is one of the most touching love story i've ever watching.

An Arab brother's pure love story.

  • @lijiannpu iranians are not arab , please dont mistake that :)

  • @lijiannpu iranian people r not arabs, we r persian...

  • I'm tired of watching most all those meaningless Indian movies released these days. This movie is is so realistic and protagonist's love is not based on lust, unlike many western movies. Hats off to Majid Majidi! Thank you for uploading!

  • That's a very nice comment :) I uploaded this movie because I felt everybody needs to watch this kind of movie too which focuses more on "reality and humanity" and not on the "flashy gaudy unreal" things of hollywood or bollywood. I hope you will also enjoy other movies that I have uploaded.
