alot of people underestimate the 5.2 also. I've got a 95 5.2 zj and it can boogy! AWD and a v8 makes for a threat on and off road! Nice sound to your 5.9 though!
Dude god damn!!! a 98 Blazer?!Definitely hold onto that! They probably only made like 110,000 units that year!!! Where as jeep totally sold out and made a whole 12,000 of these in bright platinum, deep slate, and stone white with only one available option being tow package (which any owner know you will NEVER need =P) But yea man your blazer is probably way better, probably way more options too... HA!
I have watched this clip over and over... the roar of that V8... watch at the begining, the drivers side front wheel virtually lifts off the floor at take off! What a great truck, i want one !

i have a 04 4.7ltr limited but i have to say my favorite jeep motor is the 5.9
mine runs pretty good

do you have the 4.7 or the 4.7 ho? i think the 4.7 ho is just as quick as the 5.9 although the 5.9 is a beastly motor and catches alot of guard

yes, the tune was made by B&G performance. You should be able to find them with a search engine.

It's probably shifting at about 5,580... that is unless the ECU was changed.
