i`ve been introduced to this game by one of my friends lately, i didn`t know about this classic horror game, i have to say played for 3-4 hours and scared me, managed to thrill me, it looks nice, but ultimately one question makes me wonder if finish the game or not: is it worth for the ending? i mean, i find the setting and the story very interesting, but is there substance in it? cause a lot of todays games are worth nothing in the end [no climax] hope it`s not the same for this...

@MeinKleinTier Thats why its horror game, its spouse to give u wrong directions like uve never seen b4, and consider that it was 2001 when the gave was released so there couldnt be better graphics. Undying is soooo Clive Barker that there is no place for anything else. If u look at the story and the brilliance of it, then its not hard at all. Play games for the fun, not to finish them.

I still play through this game (at least) once a year. It remains hands down the scariest game I've ever played. I've always wondered why it didn't succeed commericially though. Was it competition, bad marketing, or were gaming masses already getting so stupid they weren't interested in such an original game? I've never read a bad review or heard a bad thing about "Undying". If it had succeeded commercially, I might have gotten that sequel that the ending begged for!

Yes, they have ruined many game companies you are right.

Need For Speed was a very good series from EA, MOH was also a good series. I believe they released the Red Alert 1-2 did they not? They defiantly have gotten quite bullshit like activision, but they still publish some pretty good games.

Personally my favorite strategy game was Humans, and Orcs.

Right now I am loving Sega's total war series, going to try out Shogun 2 in a couple days.

I remember playing this game as a 15 year old girl and I got só caught up that when I got halfway the story, I was too afraid to play...I really didn't want to turn it on again, but knowing that I would never sleep a night (truly what I thought back then) if I didn't finish it, I forced myself to play it till the end. Looking back, I think it is indeed the most underrated game of this decade! Looking at the stills or films I still get the shivers!
