  • i'm very new to Jazz .thank you so much !!!!

  • Great vid and explanation, man! After watching the video I sat down with the guitar and started making jazz lines that sounded right instead of the blues flavour I was getting before. Thanks.

  • @mcagnin Wow, nice! Good for you. M-A

  • nice!

  • @jazzlickoftheday thanks!

  • I love jazz guitar but I must admit it is quite intimidating. This video probably broke down jazz lines better than anything else I've seen into an easily digestible explanation that lets you put this info into use immediately. Thank you!

  • @toobored02 Thanks!

  • @themoyadude Hello. Start with going on the website (JazzGuitarLessons . net) and get as much info from the "Start Here" page. There is also the "Practice Blog". If you have any specific question after reading, please go to the "Your Questions" page.

    I hope this helps, Marc-A.

  • Wonderful lesson. It took me six months of hard work and many expensive lesson books to figure out what you have explained here in just seven minutes and thirty-two seconds. You've got a fan for life...............or, at least the near future.

    Cheers, Bill

  • @b5b9 Hey thanks Bill! To reassure you : it took ME far more than six months and books to figure this out (let alone find a way to share it with the world!!!) Practice well. -M-A

  • This is good!

Do you have some special magnet on guitar or just regular? Sound very acoustic, I have Ibanez artcore, but it doesn't sound like that.

By the way I also have some jazz guitar examples on my channnel, check it out if you want. :)

  • @FleshMob

It's just the guitar through a fender...

    Blues Junior (tubes...)

I guess the microphone gets the amps and the "room" sound.

    Thanks for watching!

  • Thanks a lot.

    It sure helps!

    Frederik

  • Thank you for watching.

  • finally someone who starts from the BEGINNING! Jazz has been so confusing to me because there is no "smoke on the water" per se. It's all advanced, and there doesn't seem to be a gradual build up at all. thanks for your efforts!

  • My pleasure. I like your nick/username. It's my credo.

  • Good Job.

    Thanks a lot.
