  • Can anyone please tell me how to make a left handed guitar a right handed one? Id really appreciate the help. I bought a new one today and I think I can change it but not sure. Can I just string it backwards? I loved it and bought it because its accoustic but has ability to be played electric and also has a tuner on it. I'm not concerned with how the tuner will fit being upside down, I can work with that but is it possible to do this? thank you

  • do you ever use your pinky on your right hand for classical guitar?

  • You have many wonderful lessons. And you do a great job instructing. Thank you!

  • thx

  • in the guitar never can´t be expert -.-

  • don;t need to have a specific type of thumb. every thumb can be adaptable to the strings in time, no matter if it's curved or straight. Enjoy your hand diversity and have no worries. You could be the next flamenco/classical guitar master. Cheers!

  • i cant make the p finger in that straight , is that a problem ??!

  • nop

  • yes, big problem, learn to play straight. i've been playing with my thumb curved for a little less than a yea and almost everything i know of flamenco guitar is wrong, and i have to re-teach myself much :(. p should be straight most always, with some flexibility while using strumming techniques like rasgueado.

  • it doesnt have to be straight. Even Segovia plays with it curved

  • hahah i think segovia had a distaste for flamenco i believe he said he was quite proud that he rescued the guitar from the dirty hands of the gypsies

  • haha, well said.

  • if you make your p finger that straight then it would be a problem..haha..

  • thx

  • thats E..?

    imean the chord

  • E major

  • expert village sucks ass

  • i hear u bro

  • eso es arpeggio,el tremolo es con los tres dedos en el mismo orden k el arpeggio pero todos en la misma cuerda..

  • Lol@ Classical guitars, I love em.. Mainly cause you rotate the string whenever you hit it.. Im mainly used to heavy gauge acoustics so its kinda funny for me... Great videos, shame they aren't in one big video

  • I mean cause of the nylon strings they rotate while I use heavy steel strings on my acoustic

  • Thanks for the great lesson Mario

  • What type and gauge strings are those? they look different.

  • mario--

these videos are great, especially for someone who can't afford a private tutor in these times...

would you consider doing a lesson on tremolo? I'm a little confused about how the thumb should be playing--rest strokes, or free strokes?

  • All rest stroke. p-i-a-m-i

  • thank you.....

  • great stuff. really useful. thanks!

  • You are all very welcome. I'm glad they help. --Mario Amaya
