Interpretations of the Biblical texts are essential to our growth as Christians as well as being human. The deafmute healed by Jesus can be interpreted that he was psychologically deaf not naturally Deaf. Onward to positive Deaf Theology!
@ASLElla yes i agree that is my second interpretation my first assumption is if jesus actually healed naturally deaf, jesus probably did it knowing that deaf will suffer because society is not ready to accept Deaf as normal.. i am not sure how to say it but do you get my meaning?? theology is another issue we can talk about it all day and still have more questions :)
religious, depend on what his interpretation is, depend on what he believes in. Bottom line he probably thinks Deaf is caused by sin since Jesus did heal a deaf/mute some people assumed whatever jesus healed, they must be sin.. that guy who emailed you is plainly stupid, he just did the worst sin, JUDGE, that is Jesus' worst or petpeeve, judge others... just ignore him really.. i see what you mean about CI itself as evil...lets hope noone else is stupid enuf to twist what you meant.
I dont even agree that Deaf is caused by sin. i am explaining the MISINTERPRETATION by many followers. followers, normally who favor in fixing deaf, tend to come to conclusion that the deaf is caused by sin because Jesus healed deaf/mute.

@miloaguilar Deaf is not CAUSE by SIN.. God put deaf people for his propose. It is for his glory! God use us to witness deaf about Jesus. :)
