there were about 500 of them. And I'm pretty sure that "spamming" would constitute somehow making your single voice be heard more than once. This is a modern Revolution in action... and it has not culminated.
And FOX News said that Romney people wore yellow t-shirts and he saw a lot of them and that's why he knew Romney would win...Um, hello, see all the yellow Revolution tshirts?
Man, all you guys are my heroes. Let's fight for RON PAUL! FREEDOM! RON PAUL!!!
Actually there were groups of supporters for all the candidates attending the Ames straw poll that were waving signs shouting for their candidates. People who watched full coverage or attended the event themselves got to see it. The Ron Paul supporters however were simply much more together and effective with how they did it. I think it is because they were generally volunteers and doing it from the heart while other candidates were paying people to attend for them.
I can imagine how you could get the word freedom confused with seig heil.you have selective hearing.prescot bush would be proud of his grandsons nazi followers.
This just in... Ron Paul leads the Fox News text-in from the NH debate tonight. RP spammers are working their fingers to the bone texting votes for him. This guy is a loon. Scares the crap out of me just thinking of him as president.

Great cause now you have someone to listen to and realize the injustice of trying to silence what so many find so much joy in. Liberty!!!
Nice video. Your video is long enough to show how HIGH the energy level of the Ron Paul Revolution was at Ames. You've captured almost five minutes of the continuous cheering...just multiply that by ten and then multiply that by four and you'll get an idea as to how loud and how fired up we were.
Don't let Diebold beat Ron Paul, that's what this is really about. Controlling the voting machines. They control the money fed res, they have a ponzi scheme soc sec, they have a mafia IRS...don't let them take the last shred of freedom-our frickin votes!
Wherever Diebold and ES&S go, irregularities and historic Republican upsets follow. Alastair Thompson, writing for scoopDOTco of New Zealand, explored whether or not the 2002 U.S. mid-term elections were 'fixed by electronic voting machines supplied by Neo-Con affiliated companies 'The state where the biggest upset occurred, Georgia, is also the state that ran its election with the most electronic voting machines. Those machines were supplied by Diebold"
Darn those Ron Paul crazies for showing up in mass numbers and spoiling a perfectly good straw poll. People weren't able to eat their bbq sandwiches in peace, or listen to their candidates promising too keep the status quo. The worst part about it all was they just made all the other campaigns look dispassionate, and they don't have enough money to have earned the privilege of doing that. Americans don't be fooled!
So it's you again. You made comments on another video pretending to be a Ron Paul supporter who was disappointed in the turnout. You're just another goddamn corporate shill. RON PAUL 2008!!!

So you were a smaller group than Romney & Huckabee ? I could tell from C-SPAN that Romney had accomplished his buying of the straw poll. His T-shirts could be seen on people throughout the building. It didn't seem that Huckabee had as many in the pit as RP had during the speeches however !
Hahah heres Salty again, im beginning to think your a paid Shill. At first i thought you were an idiot then i read a bit about you on your blog and then thought you were intelligent, but with a different world view, you have proved me wrong! Now I just see you as a spanner in the cogs of the Freedom Loving and Peaceful people of the world. Just go away no one listens to you.
We were shouting to the romney staff that we were unpaid staffers. They were stumped but they kept driving their golf carts around and taunting us. this was before the buses started coming in.
Ain't that the truth. Write Mitt an email Mitt Romney for President 2008 and tell him that a candidate for President of the United States should not have buy votes to win an election. If it does say googbye to the Constitution and the Bill of Rights forever.
Paul has been making a lot of progress, but he's not there YET.
And I really don't care what chance he has at the presidency.I'm going to support the best candidate, and that's him. If only the rest of America would do the same.
It's a sad day when genuine political energy is seen as junk. Screw you friutjacket. Why don't you promote a candidate instead of tearing another down??? Or are you not smart enough to do that???

What is saltypig talking about. I would call it an accusation if it made any sense or listed some way to know what money he was talking about. Lots of dissinformation on Ron Paul videos lately. Thats a good thing though. IT MEANS THEIR SCARED!
We need to quit whining and start winning. One can't steal our liberties one can only accept them when they are handed over by the people.
They can't steal our elections if there is a real movement and get the voting majority behind RP. Quit a'fearing and start a'steering...spread the word about Liberty and Ron Paul.
last time i heard that cults were bad and mitt romney's campaign is a corporate cult. You just spend money to get people to vote - which is called bribery!!!!
thanks to every supporter that has come all the way to Iowa with us, thanks to all of those that support us from home, Thanks for supporting liberty and freedom. Viva La Revolution
You guys Kick A** here, Now, what do they call all those people, human spammers?, somehow someone manage to duplicate the amount of supporters.. This video must make it to the sky with views
The military industrial complex can rig the Iowa straw poll, but guess what? This movement is not going away. Only getting stronger. In the end liberty will win!
gives me the chills. I have never seen anything like this. what a powerful message!
romney spent $2,000,000 and 89 days in Iowa for this event, and received 4516 votes($443/vote,51 votes/day) . Ron Paul spent $200,000 and 17 days in Iowa and received 1305 votes($153/vote,77 votes/day). Ron Paul comes out on top.
Prattleon you have your days wrong. RP has spent only 9 days in IA not 17 ! And when the figures do come out Willard Romney will have spent closer to $4 mil.
just conservative estimates. and the 17 days includes all days since he started campaigning; not just specifically for the straw poll. either way, i'm sure i'm downplaying the significance of ron paul's message, and the insignificance of romney's.
Yes, and hour and FIFTEEN minutes. Supporters from other campaign all had the "DEER IN THE HEADLIGHTS" look. THEY DON"T GET IT! Paul's campaign didn't offer free bus rides, free t-shirts-only hotdogs NO catered BBQ. He did offer to serve the CONSTITUTION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The other campaigns are CLUELESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This group marched around the entire site with this kind of enthusiasm starting @ 12:30 local and ended the 30 minute walk here at the entrance where the candidates are speaking. An anouncement came that the program was running a little late and Dr. Paul's speech would begin at 1:45 instead of 1:30. The enthusiasm remained at this pitch from the beginning of the march until time to enter @ 1:45.
base1-thanks for the eyewitness. Sounds like it was a great event. This type of first hand reporting with important details really paints the picture. Thanks again.
:-)...hey base...I was the one who brought you the message the speeches were running late. The energy outside was electric, and the poor woman at the door of the coliseum truly appeared worried we were going to storm the doors. I assured her Ron Paul supporters are simply passionate about their candidate, and not to worry...we can behave when necessary. Everyone outside did a fantastic job!!
The sheeple are thoroughly obedient and make little noise. It is easy to recognise the sheeple. They have glazed looks in their eyes and settle in front of the TV regularly to receive their alloted doses of indoctrination.
And don't forget they had to pay their staff, we all drove there on our own dime. I had a blast in this march and was in the nosh pit during Ron Paul's speech inside. We heard from news reports we were the loudest and proudest of all candidates. It was the coolest thing I ever did. We also had the most diverse group of people. Romney voters were there for all the perks he paid for (including the shirts they had to put on before they got off of their bus ride).
Every single time Fox news went to check on the Ames poll results on Saturday evening, you can hear "WE WANT RON PAUL" being screamed repeatedly with a screen full of Ron Paul signs waving. Thanks for the video.
There was only one guy screaming fred thompson. Only reason why you can even hear him is that he screams it between the "ron paul". Fred, why should anybody vote for you? Is there any real Significant difference between you and the other candidates... I think not.
Paul himself predicted a 4th or 5th place finish, so this is indeed a success in that his campaign goal was met. Plus, it's great to see some positive enthusiasm.
9.1% for Ron Paul - barely spent money and only campaigned in Iowa for 3 days. Most people still don't know him. My Aunt is a republican state delegate in Arizona and she has never heard of him. Ron Paul supporters need to stop the - BEING OVERLY DEFENSIVE ABOUT EVERYTHING. PAUL IS NOT A MAIN STREAM ESTABLISHMENT GUY. SO HE DOESN'T GET TREATED LIKE ONE. Please for Paul's campaign be passionate and spread the word, but try not be so conspiracy minded. Best regards.
I think it's funny how Giuliani got 1% but he's a front runner. It seems they knew we would be watching for our votes to count so they used the diebold system to steal votes from Giuliani and gave em to Romney Huckabee. It's hard to win against cheaters but we can win once we weed out the way to cheat.
Mitt Romney spent $2200 per vote, nevermind that buying votes is pandering at it's worst level, but all the news outlets are saying that for what he amount he spent and the time he spent in Iowa campaigning that it's a huge disappointment. Ron Paul did five times better than anticipated, spent the least and visited Iowa 3 times compared to the 30 plus times the others did, his campaign is on an upward clime in donations and support.
Damn them spammers (shakes fist) At first I thought Ron Paul didn't do so good coming in 5th even though people were trying to stay positive. Then I saw a video of 34 busses parked outside and I learned Mitt Romney and the others spent all kinds of crazy money on the event and been campaigning for the last month there. Ron Paul is the clear winner not paid staffers we got our TV time and made our presense. Good job to America and the folks who traveled long an far to here the message of liberty.
Ron Paul spent less time in Iowa than any of the candidates, due to Congressional responsibilities, and still is building momentum! We need to keep the morale up and keep working!
the revolution is just getting started keep up the good work

So you were a smaller group than Romney & Huckabee ? I could tell from C-SPAN that Romney had accomplished his buying of the straw poll. His T-shirts could be seen on people throughout the building. It didn't seem that Huckabee had as many in the pit as RP had during the speeches however !

It simply boils down to this:
Vote for freedom and liberty with Ron Paul, or
vote for that damn Irish CFR candidate:

AWESOME!!! We are out there, our campaign is loud... but we are not spending nearly as much money... that's what a good message does.

Eat your heart out, Mitt. Mitt spent like $2200/vote.
And only got three times the votes future President Paul got by just showing up. Those shouting masses were not paid to be there!
wsmith68 4 years ago
We were shouting to the romney staff that we were unpaid staffers. They were stumped but they kept driving their golf carts around and taunting us. this was before the buses started coming in.
sariwat1 4 years ago
Ain't that the truth. Write Mitt an email Mitt Romney for President 2008 and tell him that a candidate for President of the United States should not have buy votes to win an election. If it does say googbye to the Constitution and the Bill of Rights forever.

Paul has been making a lot of progress, but he's not there YET.
And I really don't care what chance he has at the presidency.I'm going to support the best candidate, and that's him. If only the rest of America would do the same.

Quit a'fearing and start a'steering...spread the word about Liberty and Ron Paul.

gives me the chills.
Ron Paul comes out on top.
prattleon 4 years ago
Prattleon you have your days wrong. RP has spent only 9 days in IA not 17 ! And when the figures do come out Willard Romney will have spent closer to $4 mil.
BroButch69 4 years ago
just conservative estimates. and the 17 days includes all days since he started campaigning; not just specifically for the straw poll. either way, i'm sure i'm downplaying the significance of ron paul's message, and the insignificance of romney's.

I was there, it was awsome.
The enthusiasm remained at this pitch from the beginning of the march until time to enter @ 1:45.
base1aransas 4 years ago
base1-thanks for the eyewitness. Sounds like it was a great event. This type of first hand reporting with important details really paints the picture. Thanks again.
airborne373 4 years ago
:-)...hey base...I was the one who brought you the message the speeches were running late. The energy outside was electric, and the poor woman at the door of the coliseum truly appeared worried we were going to storm the doors. I assured her Ron Paul supporters are simply passionate about their candidate, and not to worry...we can behave when necessary. Everyone outside did a fantastic job!!
picassolama 4 years ago
It appears from all the video I have seen only Ron Paul had genuine supporters. The other candidate "supporters" looked like they were half-dead.

The sheeple are thoroughly obedient and make little noise. It is easy to recognise the sheeple. They have glazed looks in their eyes and settle in front of the TV regularly to receive their alloted doses of indoctrination.
TheEvilDetector 4 years ago
And don't forget they had to pay their staff, we all drove there on our own dime. I had a blast in this march and was in the nosh pit during Ron Paul's speech inside. We heard from news reports we were the loudest and proudest of all candidates. It was the coolest thing I ever did. We also had the most diverse group of people. Romney voters were there for all the perks he paid for (including the shirts they had to put on before they got off of their bus ride).

I was laughin cause on Fox news for an hour everytime they checked in, someone was wavin a Ron Paul sign- shagrin!

I just don't like this military/cheerleader chant stuff, it sounds too much like the machine we want to defeat.
Someone mentioned that the voting machines were Diebold - nuff said.
Dr Ron officially lost this poll.
Instead of throwing venom at the opposition we should learn and be constructive and inventive.
This is a war that we will lose if we fail to apply ourselves as individuals.
We do not have the luxury to be sheeple.
Fight, fight the good and clean fight, but fight for your life.

Care to take any bets against him winning any of the primaries? My guess is that he doesn't even pull ONE state.
If he gets about 1% of the vote, will you realize that the whole "Ron Paul revolution" thing was over-stated?
