I liked Obama but can someone help me understand the justification for NDAA? In the military we've gotten together in small groups and discussed the responsibility and recourse of what it is to be an Oath Keeper. If you aren't familiar w the concept, Google it. But we have actually, as Army Rangers, had to discuss in what way we will treat certain acts against American civilians. I don't care if he had reservations. Obama signed it for fux sake! I have to side w Ron Paul on this and all issues.
I think Obama errs when he suggests the founders had a blindspot to race issues in framing the constitution. Many key founders wished to abolish slavery at the founding, but found they would not be able to keep the southern states. Thus, a sorrowful compromise was made out of expediency not blindness.
It's also a bit flawed to hold 200 year old cultural norms to modern standards. They approached a crossroads of cultural and spiritual revival and progress, not yet having crossed it.
Wow, if you listen to what he is saying, it becomes increasingly clear how intelligent this man is! He is a great American! He will become one of America's greatest presidents ever! Obama is exactly the man that America needs to bring us together and into the 21st century!
There isn't anything racially related in the Constitution.

@mikecarlini66 There is actually quite a bit of race-related content in the Constitution.
I'm shocked that you're not aware of it.
