    buddy, everyone has abs. It's all about losing weight to have them show. You can increase the size of your abs by doing the workouts, but if you are only concerned about showing them then you have to lose the weight to tighten your abdominal area and that way show your abs.

    YOU HAVE TO LOSE WEIGHT TO SHOW ABS, simple as that.

  • no no no, inorder to lose fat, u have to do alot of cardio, and proper nutrition. Abs exercise to build up the 6 pack abs, not to burn fats.

  • Exercises don't burn specific fat. Building muscles and using them burns your OVERALL fat. But if you do exercises your stomach will tighten up.

  • hmmm so if i do five miles everyday, pushups untill i can't do em anymore...and then 10 more, and 10-12 crunches/bycicle/lower crunch, i should be in shape hard core xD

  • You have to keep working your abs even after you have a 6 or 4 pack because otherwise the muscle will go away and turn to fat : (

  • Muscle never turns to fat, but when u stop working out, your body fat will increase and your muscle will not show up.

    I'm glad you enjoyed the video. The body tends to adapt fairly quickly to any exercise and one specific exercise should not be performed each and every week. However, one thing I recommend is for you to slow your pace down. In other words, perform the exercise twice as slow as you did in the first week. This will place more of a contraction on your abs.

    You can eat after the workout but try to wait 20 minutes or so.

  • if i do this everyday how long will it take for me to actually get results if i way 130 pounds

  • shorter than the time it will take for me to see them, i weigh 190! but i think it takes a couple of weeks to start seeing them, but you will feel results a couple days after. you start to notice that your posture is better, and your abs just feel stronger. but keep at it! i'm with ya!

  • i read somewhere that if u have some body fat on ur stomach that doing this exercises won't help u cuz u first have to get rid of the fat and then work on ur abs. is that true?! i'm not fat... but i have a little bit of fat on my stomach. i've been exercising for a month now and i still don't have a flat stomach. but i think i can feel my abs improving... i hope... what do u think?

  • it's not that easy to lose weight super fast it's best to exercise at least once a day on all body parts and to diet i am starting my diet monday, tomorrow and i'm sure i will lose weight but my stomach is more weight than i expect because certain body parts are hard goals all u have to do is do what u think u need to do and that's eating your faves that is healthy and exercise so u can achieve your goal i hope all of this advice help and i give u the best of luck u welcome for everything (work)

  • Okay so i run the treadmill 30 minutes two times a day, one for morning and one for night

    and in between those i do these excersises 4-5 times a day and after every non-fat meal i drink green tea

  • well you shouldn't do it to many times a day or even to many times a week because like any other muscle you'll over work it and end up depleting your muscle resulting in a reverse effect. as long as you eat right and keep a good cardio workout 4 or 5 sets of this every one or two days should be fine.

  • Depends on how much fat you have got on your stomach. Gotta burn that off before the muscles can be seen. But if you have got no fat, six pack should be visible in about month or later.

    Correct me if I'm wrong :D

  • well.. around 30% of getting sixpack abs is about training your stomach... the other 70% is about the food you eat :).. so if you eat wrong it'll take forever.. but if you eat right for six pack abs then you can get sixpack in 3-4 weeks.. try to find a site about what you should eat to get sixpack

  • it all depends on the rate of your muscle development

  • Damn ... When your doing the 2nd move. Going from right to left does that count as 1 move or 2?

  • Left to right counts as 1. Both sides should be equally worked so there is balance; you don't want to look lop-sided, trust me.

  • The 2nd move is bicycle. Right to left (R elbow to L knee) followed by left to right (L elbow to R knee) is one complete move. If you count each 'half' as a move, I suppose you could boast doing twice as many reps. However you count it, the more reps the better! :)

  • So if I start doing this tonight, (90 of each) and continue everynight, will i see a big difference by this friday, or atleast next weekend?

    Btw im not really 'big' or have fat i just kinda have a pouch, i just want to get toned.

  • hey ive been doing this since my lasy post ( should be 3 pages ahead ) and my abs stick out now ... this was the only workout i did for my abs before - 10 1st crunch ,10 2nd crunch , 10 third crunch .. repeat 3 times .. ( 90 total )

    now i will try to go for 4 times ( 120 ) instead of 90

    also doing jumprope after this work out really helps you get in good shape.

  • The first crunch is good, but the next two exercises, the bicycle and hip thrust, work primarily the hip extensors (they extend the hips)and not the abs. Check out my weight training website BigGuysGym dot com

  • Actually I did this excersises to check out and I can feel my abs working durning all three excersises, the first one work the upper part, second middle and lower, last one the lower part of abs. My advice is to do this 5 times doing exacly what they do here, but as much reps as u can of all three excersises shown here from first to last one
