Okay... this method sucks. 1 problem is that this post-pones the main quest which is stupid, The second problem is that summons are not followers unless they are thralls that permenantly follow you until they die.

Get somebody to follow you to the Dawnstar Sanctuary then dismiss them, let them finish the sentence but don't let the icon show up in the corner, then try and recruit DB Initiate/Cicero. Dead Thrall spell is unlocked by completing College questline, and Meeko or other dogs can be found as a quest, in Meeko's Shack, or outside of Markarth. Hope this helps! (P.S. It might not work, so just keep trying)

Hey, spare Cicero and finish the DB questline to have a max of 8 people following you. Here's a possible list: DB Initiate, Lydia, DB Initiate, Ghorbash Iron-Handed, Cicero, Uthgerd the Unbroken, Meeko, and a Dead Thrall.

@Bobbyboy532 Uh, well, they aren't ACTUALLY companions. Just before you go tho karthspire/skyhaven temple, have them follow you. You can't interact with them as you would a normal companion, but they'll fight for you and they are essential NPCs.

You can have mercer, farkas, etcetc all you do is start quests where people follow u and dont go to where it ends and theyll continue following, with summons and thanes you could easily 15-18 follows

@giddlychunkt Like the video said, tell your current follower to leave it part ways. Then, you'll be able to get Lydia to accompany you on your travels. Lydia can be found at Dragonsreach in Whiterun which is the initial location where you find her.

@LoloXXScotty when you do missions and you end up having to take someone with you, if you don't take them to their destination they'll stick with you as a follower forever until you do the mission which you're supposed to do with them. hope it helped :)

TO GET ALL 3 DARK BROTHERHOOD FOLLOWERS you just have to type "set playerfollowercount to 0" in the console without quotes before asking the followers. for example, when i already had lydia i typed "set playerfollowercount to 0" and got cicero to follow me. then "set playerfollowercount to 0" to get the other dark brotherhood initiates. so I currently have 4 followers, 1 lydia and 3 dark brotherhood followers

@TheGuider Skyrim has 5 difficulty levels, I can play on any difficulty, I don't have to play it on master, specially since this is my first ES game, so playing it on the highest difficulty, on my first blind run is not be a good idea. There is no bragging in my comment, it is not my fault if you see it that way, I don't see any point in bragging about my personal achievements in Skyrim, My whole point is that Giants & Mammoths can be killed without any help if you are leveled high enough. but you can only have max of two. well 3 if you have 1 quest follower + 2 zombie :)

use forceav health to make it invicible and additem to equip the gear.
