u R WRONG. LOOK at the Youtube and language forum. see the age of the members who is listening to Taiyu songs. In Malaysia, even Taiyu soep operas r now showing at Prime Time compare to 3 years ago when the terresterial Tv start showing. In Singapore yr STUPID Hakka leader of LEE Kuan Yew suppressed all Chinese dialects. I observed that Teochew, Hokkien & Cantonese songs is still very popular. Check out Getai to understand more.
