  • That is not a male eagle but a female. The female birds of prey are bigger than the male because it is the female who defends the nest. The male goes and gets the food.

  • @LadyHecate3 Sorry but this is the male. I have been watching this nest for 4 years now. the female is heard in the back ground and is bigger than him. Also the male eagle is the one that defends the nest the most. It is his nest and the female will only protect it if there are eggs or young.. CLC
