No offense, but you must be like 19 years old and weren't even around when the movie actually came out (1984).

It is a cult classic. Probably more popular today than ever.

And that sh*t joke of a movie they made last year with Jackie Chan and Will Smith's son is a pathetic Failed attempt at a remake. They should just go ahead and pull the original takes of that film and burn it.

And having a lanky italian-american kid from the bronx named Daniel LaRusso who once practiced karate out of a book at home and then needed to seek help from a wise master once he and his mother relocated to California for her work was a believable and sensible story......but that wasn't good enough for America by today's standards.

...Now it has to be a young african-american kid from Detriot who's family moves to China. WTF? Oh, yeah, I know so many...

Stupid plot, stupid cast (only reason Jaden was cast, was because daddy, Will Smith, was producer of the movie), Stupid location and stupid story.

The original was so good, and remake or reboot is and was not needed.
