you probaly have a different system then the theme is for because some things are for springboard or summerboard or winterboard set up :D

it's a problem with you're winterboard or iPod

how you fix it is by reinstalling winterboard from cydia. if that doesn't fix it than uninstall winterboard then install it again. GOOD LUCK!!! I had the same problem, then I fixed it! :)

What is much easier is to reinstall winterboard. If that doesn't work then you should seek for other methods.

i think i got it go into rock and downlaod winterboarder it resets ur settings so that it works dont reset t if u downgrade your ipod becasue it restores it back to what ever u had it as

U might be on game mode when on game mode it shuts off the winterboard n background mode try it out

i think its because we didnt reboot our i touch right, because with the 3.1.2 version for 3rd gen, if we reboot it, blackra1n will go, because its untethered, so i guess we have to wait for a tethered one.

So i found a way to fix this.

install winterboard

go to a SSH go to applications and delete Cydia

Then either jailbreak or install Cydia again

But jailbreaking is REcommended

I GOT THE SOLUTION IT WORKED FOR ME! restore your ipod so it unjail breaks it and then jailbreak it again and when you open cydia, it goes to the upgrade page, the problem for me i hit the second upgrade down. you need to hit the one at the top. let me know if it helped

Hi I have jailbroken my iPod touch on firmware 3.1.2 and downlaoded cydia and then got winterboard I then downloaded the themes I tried to turn them on but after I have exited winterboard the little loading comes on the screen for about 3 seconds starts turning then the whole screen freezes for about 30 seconds then it comes to the locking screen I type in my code but nothing has changed and the themes havent worked please help
