Venom was one of the best characters, but the trailer focuses mainly on the first half of the symbiote story (when it's connected to Spider-Man). I'll be gutted when I go to see this: if Venom doesn't appear till just before the credits or something. I guess it would be a good way to get people to go see Spider-Man 4 :P.

thats a negative on this being the last spiderman, venom doesnt come into the picture until he's close to the end there are still more villains to be put on here and i dont think they are just going to end it with goblin sandman and venom its to much of a hit to even end it short, in my opinion if they can keep up a good storyline for the spiderman movie i think they have a bright future on sequels but it all depends on how good the story lines can be placed

I reckon the movie will be like in two halfs the 1st with spidey being conumed by the simbiote then later tearing it off which then drops on 2 eddy if u watched the cartoons then the setting is exactly the same the old clock tower because the simbiote cant stand loud noise.... so the 2nd half of the film will be brock kidnapping mary jayne and toying with peter parker which will lead to a huge brawl between spidey and venom to close out the films as it is douted there will be a spidey 4

you can easily have a movie with venom with out carnage, i mean it WAS venom's fault Carnage came to be, Kassidy was a serial killer, a maniac who was locked away in the same cell as Eddie Brock and when the symbiote got him out, it accidentally left a small trace of it on the cell wall, kassidy grabbed it and it took over him.

Can't wait for this movie, Sandman, Venom, Hobgoblin, perhaps kingpin! Great characters :)

I was so freakin happy to see that they were finally bringing the black suit spidey but now I am simply yelling "YES!" at the quick glimpse of the baddest anti-hero/villain ever, VENOM!
