With light rail service since 1994, excellent highway connections and being across the river from Downtown St Louis, MO East St Louis has to be one of the most underrated communities in America. I just have dreams and visions of turning the city into an affordable place where folks can live work and play in new office, shopping, entertainment and housing complexes while controlling the poverty and suppressing/driving out the crime. East St Louis has lots of untapped potential!!!!
