I fed him real good this morning and he ha been quiet all day. :D I sure wish you were sitting across the table from me having some tea or coffee or whatever. Hey Barb! I use tomato sauce on them, which Is how my husband likes them. I like them with a sauce of melted butter, onion and garlic poured over them! Yummmm..I'll have to cook on camera more often but without Max acting up!! gees he is annoying!
My husband likes anything with red sauce on it, so it is a "regular" dish at my house. I put melted butter, onion and garlic on mine though - I don't like the red sauce!

I make my stuffed peppers much the same way with the filling and sauce. Had to laugh @losing it w/Max. My lhasa jumped up in the window to see what was outside. LOL

Here's a weird fact: I love cabbage rolls, but not so much the cabbage. So I will eat maybe 1/4 to half of that cabbage. Oh man, I bet it is going to be good. You know, you could make the same filling for the cabbage rolls but hallow out a tomato and stuff that instead.. (or bell peppers) Each one gives the meat a different flavor. I love it in the tomatoes! Nope, Max doesn't get any of my NutriSystem food, are you kidding? I eat every morsel of it!! (they don't give you much in the entrees) I give him bites of what I give my husband though. He gets his own little dish of table food every night.. He's spoiled just a tad! LOL

OK..I'm sitting here LMAO..Max is sooo cute..you are right..when people became irate on the phone with me when I did technical support..I would just start talking very softly..before I knew it, the person would calm down just so they could hear me..worked like a charm..:) Your recipe for cabbage rolls sounds very similar to how I make them..hmm..haven't had them in a while..might be on the menu one day soon..:)
