I don't automatically take the accusers word for the events he said transpired. Burden of proof is on the accuser remember.

Plus many times there were witnesses. With no evidence, how would these guys possibly be convicted? Michael Jackson's case obviously showed that people saying "this happened and that happened" is not enough evidence, common sense. I am not a detective who has all of the papers in my file cabinet.

Papal infallibility only applies to certain statements of the Pope, called ex cathedra statements, and it's only happened a few times. I once met a great man while I was the the service...an FMF Navy Chaplain Father Riordan who left a great impression on me with his humble nature and outgoing attitude and love for his faith. I don't automatically take the accusers word for the events he said transpired. Burden of proof is on the accuser remember.

Plus many times there were witnesses. With no evidence, how would these guys possibly be convicted? Michael Jackson's case obviously showed that people saying "this happened and that happened" is not enough evidence, common sense. I am not a detective who has all of the papers in my file cabinet.

@BreaksFast slavery wasnt slavery as it is today. sure there was cruel slavery, but some people choosed willingly to be slaves for a certain amount of time to repay a debt, just like community service, you could work for a person for 5 yars, instead of being in prison for 5 years. some people choose that willingly, dont compare slavery with 1800 blacks and how they lived.
Yes some suffered worse, but some slaves had good lives and left after working their years with food and shelter meanwhile.

Papal infallibility only applies to certain statements of the Pope, called ex cathedra statements, and it's only happened a few times. It's only mentioned once at the beginning and again at the end, with no real discussion on what it means or how it's delegated. Papal infallibility is a much-discussed and debated topic that was completely ignored by this episode, with good reason. It is a theological concept that has nothing to do with the ideas/complaints involved (celibacy, molestor protection, gay/contraception prohibitions).

Again, I do not belive Christ started it, as I belive he also stated that no man should rule over and make the desicions for others. That man is not fit to rule over others. Which is essentially what catholocism do.
And even IF he started it, it doesn't mean it's destined to be the true church, as the world is (according to the bible) in the grasp of the devil. Just look at the jews.
