Why we was the best driver of all the times? A lot of reasons. There two huge ones: First: He won the 60% of his wet races [the closed one won 40%]. I am not counting the robbery of Monaco 1984 where the principal of the race was suspended for 5 years for this act]. Two: We belong to a very short list of pilots who beat his pole time in a race [ Detroit 1987]. In these race in particular he show his genius.

I could listen to to Ayrton's voice all day. Nice and soft with a pleasing lilt to his accent. Great driver and sadly missed.
