Hey i had the same problem, try taking out the screen CAREFULLY u need a t6 screwdriver i think. and lightly blow on the pegs and put the screen back on and then try hope this helped!

Your screens copper points aren't touching, go to the store, buy a t6 driver.. (or just use it in the store, dont pay the 3 bucks) and unscrew it, set the screen back to the copper points and put drive the screws in tightly.

i think you can just get a new screen. if you really want to keep it go onto ebay. they sell screens there for $40. if you'll spend the $40 then go ahead. don't do it for sure though/ i just THINK that's what it may be.

When the white screen apears on the Sidekick it means the cable that connects to the back of the lcd screen needs to be reseated.

all u have to do is unskrew both silver screws under the screen this means thats nothing is broken when u unscrew the 2 bolts just dont touch the copper strip u will see what i mean when u open it up u just need to press the part that is attached form the scren to the back of the phone where it naturealy fits and then turn the phone back on and u should see what was wrong the leads were jus not all touching the part that sends out the info to the screen and then screw it back in it will work

Your screens light / graphics burned out. the same thing happened to me. when it goes black. you could still here the sounds but you cant see anything. so go to t mobile and ask if they can fix it.. if not then go on ebay or craigs list and buy the SCREEN ONLY and you can install it on and your done

Soft reset. That's all I can tell you. That happened to me on the drive home once and it fucking made me pissed. I thought it was broken. I just performed a soft reset on it and it was fine...

And to the guy below me, the soft reset is Shift + @ (next to the space bar) + 1 + 0 (both on the top number line)

Sidekick has a shortage, all sidekicks do that after awhile like it disconnects or just makes it slower it happeneds to every one..all you need to do is call the T-Mobile company and tell them to send you another one and just send your old one back to themm and there you go. it'll back as new

I had that same problem the other day. I fixed it by pushing my thumbs on the screen till it touched the liquid crystal screen and it when back to normal. try it. dont push so hard u break it tho.

hard reset is the little button behind the screen. Turn your screen to a 90 degree angle and then use a pen and poke into the reset hole.
