@deryl1023 Which man do you feel sorry for because he is full of hate for the Church? There is no-one in the video who hates the Church - who are you talking about? This entire channel is devoted to promoting the Catholic faith.
God bless the Roman Catholic Church and all of its followers. We are Christ's Original Church, established by Christ Our Lord himself. Protestants should repent their sin's and there Heretical way's. In my opinion a protestant is a catholic protesting against there real church because glory hunting men, seized oppertunities when they arose to chase wealth and power,
@Enjoysfishing As everyone can see, we are MORE than happy to deal with people who approach this in a spirit of goodwill and so forth - but someone who openly says "I will delete my comments if you post them!" is not interested in open debate and discussion. Pray for such people.
@Enjoysfishing wrote "Do not post my comments.I will not deal with people on a power trip.Comment pending approval is bull and only there for a power play.If I see it posted I will only remove it."
I am posting this here in case he DOES delete it (basically, the equivalent of ringing a doorbell and running away). The reason (for everyone) why we have comment pending; because people come here and post swearing etc. (the word "bull" is close to the limit, I suppose)
I'd just like to say that I too was led to the RCC by reading my Bible with a fervent spirit of seeking wisdom in my walk with Christ. I started researching biblical concepts and getting Catholic answers. By that I mean the only reasonable explanation was Catholic doctrine. I will be starting RCIA this Tuesday.
Jesuitic charlatan, this man, a faithful servant of the whore, the false "one holy church", closing the door to heaven (Jesus Christ) with the false key of the pope !!! YOU HAVE TO UNDERSTAND the context of the Holy Bible. And this is possible ONLY by standing outside of the false church of Rome ...!!!
@Peterneuh Peter, can you prove those lies you just stated above? Show me the documents that prove what you say...you can't, because they do not exist...rememer "A lie cannot be proven, but the truth can" Come home to Rome, Peter...Your soul will thank you for it.
@Peterneuh I forgot to reply to this! Silly man! Are you really saying that a Catholic cannot be saved, simply because of his membership in the Church? So, you are saying there is a limit to the ability of God? You are saying God can be prevented from having His grace reach someone? What little faith you have in Christ!
Also; context of the Holy Bible? You mean, the Bible we wrote? And protected? And defended with our blood? That one?
@Peterneuh Funny, reading the Bible actually led me INTO the Catholic Church... As an evangelical I was disturbed that the Bible actually clearly taught against the things I had always believed in, like once saved always saved, sola fide, etc. and that only the Catholic Church had a truly biblical approach to anything.
@agentjs09 thats the problem, you just "read" it without the guidance of the Holy Spirit. A deep and careful study will never lead anyone TO the catholic church, but it will lead you away from it.
@SyntheticStuntMan What an arrogant response! A man responds to someone saying he should read the Bible so he leaves Catholicism by saying the Bible led him to Catholicism, and then you say "Oh, well - you didn't read it with the Holy Spirit". What arrogance and foolishness - and circular reasoning! You are saying Catholicism is wrong because you believe Catholicism to be wrong, and not making any actual sense. There are many people who carefully study the Bible and become Catholic.
@SyntheticStuntMan Might it be that YOU do not have the guidance of the Holy Spirit? And that you have not carefully studied the Bible? It is just as easier to say that - easier, in fact; the Bible is a Catholic document and supports Catholic doctrine.
Full of lies young man. Why don't you encourage the people to read the bible themselves and then they will see the errors in your thinking. I guess you wish it was still written in Latin and then you could tell them what ever you wanted them to believe. I hope the God of the bible will open your eyes and heart and you to will come to know the truth.
@BrendanMurrayJubana What a silly person you are! Of course people should read the Bible - the Church has always encouraged this. Remember, it was the Church who translated it into the language most people understood (Latin) and then first translated it into the vernacular (long before Luther et al). And the Church STILL attaches benefits to reading it, and STILL reads it at Mass today! Why, if you attend Mass in three years you will hear most of the Bible read to you!
@BrendanMurrayJubana Also, &I don't expect a sensible answer, if the Church didn't want the Bible read, why didn't she just destroy it? For 1500 years she was the only game in town - the only people with access to the Bible according to your theory. Why not destroy the book in that instance? Your thesis (such as it is) is full of holes, and informed by hatred and ignorance. I pray you can come to love Christ as He wishes to be loved - in His Church which is the pillar and foundation of truth.
@BrendanMurrayJubana no, YOU are the liar, Brendan. Protestantism is of Satan because of all the division it has caused...There are now over 40,000 "Non Catholic" Churches out there today (The World Christian encyclopedia, a PROTESTANT publication) Can you honestly tell me that those 40,000 'churches' all teaching something different from each other yet using the SAME scriptures are RIGHT? Absolutely NOT!! Satan definitely has a hand in Protestantism!! >:-(
@BrendanMurrayJubana Umm hellooo? What's the point of reading it if they're not going to have any guidance?? You tell people to go and "read the bible themselves". Ok, and what makes you think they're not going to interpret it incorrectly? The point he was trying to make wasn't that people shouldn't read it, it's that people shouldn't interpret it alone... Everything he said about what Protests cave into is clear evidence of the error of Sola Scriptura and the chaos is causes...
@phatcrayonz Wisdom comes from God, knowledge from books, love from God. All three are necessary to evangelize - but knowledge is the least important. Pray, pray, pray without ceasing - and we will all pray for your family, too.
@nielsqbc4 Only God is to be honored? So "Honor thy father and mother" was a lie, then? Of course we are to honor people who are holy or chosen for something special. It is a hallmark of Protestant thinking that "we are all just as equal as each other". We aren't.
@SaintMichaelsMedia And actually Protestants have their leaders who have their "ranks", too, so I don't understand why the hatred about bishops, cardinals, and the Pope... but then again.. Protestants will always be Protestants!
@SaintMichaelsMedia You are 100% right. Catholic Church is the ONLY Christianity. The Church Christ established in 33 AD, and the Church that you must be apart of to be saved and the Church that will exist till the end of time.
Dont you find it odd that there is not only "one" protestant denomination?? "If" they all claim to be "taught" of the Holy Spirit, why so many different denominations?
@jofo817 Exactly, Jofo! And Protestanism keeps on splitting the body of Christ. Every Week we see new "churches' sprouting up everywhere. In my neighborhood alone, there are now SEVEN "Storefront churches", each teaching something different from the other! Sad sad sad. And they try to justify it by saying "We go by the Bible!"..Really? Then why are you not ONE, HOLY, CATHOLIC AND APOSTOLIC? I never get an answer.
@priyonjoni Actually, neither are accepted (or possible). What is possible is a declaration of nullity, which some people (ignorant of the truth) call an annulment. This is where the Church declares there was no marriage in the first place, because people who were trying to enter into marriage were (for whatever reason) unable to.
@SaintMichaelsMedia I've gathered that many of these videos wage war against Protestantism. Of course this is not only fitting, but necessary. But what about the other end of the spectrum? I'm referring to schismatics. Are there any episodes exposing the errors of the sedevacantists or the Orthodox churches?
@TenderTrap86 We did an episode on the Schism and the Orthodox. Sedevacantists are so easily refuted; when Jesus says "on this rock" to Peter, you know He can't have meant "except for when the gates of Hell WILL prevail, of course!"
And in Galatians 2 we see that Paul rebuked the Pope of that church for teaching a false gospel. Had Peter not changed his doctrine, his church would not have been part of the true Church.
@Drregaleagle Actually, in Gal we see Paul rebuking Peter for not DOING what he was TEACHING. Peter was teaching the right thing, but just not walking the talk. That is a matter of personal impecability, not infallibility. Peter and the popes have always taught the correct thing (as they are protected by the Holy Spirit) but have not always done it.
@MrBillyonenut Yes, pick up your Bibles yourself and read them yourselves, rather than only listening to lies Protestant preachers spout about what the Bible contains and means! Read the Bible, which is a CATHOLIC document! Excellent suggestion, Billy!
@MrBillyonenut Of course! Because all the New Testament was written by Catholics who followed Peter the Pope, and because the entirety of the Bible was chosen, protected, translated, published, copied and spread by the Catholic Church! Why, the Bible didn't appear until the Catholic Councils got together and decided what was in it under the guidance of the Holy Spirit! Protestants didn't appear until much later - and then they hacked scripture up. Very antiChristian are Protestants
@SaintMichaelsMedia I know this is late, but there's something I'd like to add...
If you read the Gospels, and take Christ's word literally, you have the Catholic faith. Plain and simple. The Catholic Church is the only church that takes Christ at His word. Every other Church deviates, as if to say "Well, Christ didn't really mean that..."
As GK Chesterton said, the Catholic Church is the only messenger that refuses to tamper with the original message. The gates of Hell shall not prevail.
@GlorifiedTruth I can't remember exactly (it has been a while since I saw the whole video) BUT I am certain it was used to make a point about choice; how there are thousand brands of toilet paper and they are all different? Something like that. Anyway - go to the website in the description, click on "podcasts" and you can get a podcast of the full, 1 hour, show :)
being a muslim lady when i heard all speeches of saint michael i am really impressed & i heard how islam & christainity(catholism) & judism is near to each other .basic concepts r same , little differ in ways of prayers but i think we should all respect each others' faiths & avoid criticism . some ppl in all religions & regions r fundamentalists & rigid while others want destruction & have no interest for humans .there r gud & bad ppl among every nation & religion.but we all have to be wise
@MsButhy We have never stated there is any closeness between Islam and Christianity - Islam is a false religion founded by a violent warlord and it teaches false, Satanic teachings which do NOT bring salvation to individuals or love to the world. The basic concepts are NOT the same.
At this season of Christmas, I pray Muslims and non-Christians come to accept the truth of Jesus the Messiah and to walk in the darkness of ignorance no longer. I also pray non-Catholic Christians become Catholic
@WorthDieing4 The pope did NOT "cave" - read the entire article. He specifically says using condoms is NOT a moral solution, but rather that someone who is ALREADY sinfully having sex chosing to use a condom may represent moving in the right direction. It is like a bank robber chosing not to take a gun in case he kills someone - it is still wrong to rob a bank, but it is less bad to do so unarmed.
Also, sorry you are a "born again". I will pray for your conversion to the Truth.
@SaintMichaelsMedia If the pope had the spirt of God he would tell these perverts and fornicators they need to REPENT ...not use a piece of rubber to help them in their sexual deviance. Unless you repent you will perish!
@WorthDieing4 You are obviously a silly and ignorant man, and I see no purpose in dealing with you any longer. If you had actually bothered to READ the pope's comments and other things the Church has written and said, you would know he and we DO call people to repent! But you are not interested in telling the truth, rather simply trying to attack and insult Catholicism. The Church has CONSISTENTLY taught homosexuality is evil. There are many protestant communities which do NOT teach this.
@chmmy3 No, I would say it is BOTH. The external events are caused by internal decisions, and the choice to use contraception is an evil one based on selfishness and an unwillingness to commit fully to a fellow human being in the appropriate use of the sexual act (that is, to build up the family by the potential generation of new life, the most sacred creative act we can participate in).
Contraception is evil. Contracepted sex is lust, pure and simple.
The true church's head is Christ and under the Word of God - Ephesians 5: 23 - For the husband is the head of the wife, as Christ also is the head of the church, He Himself being the Savior of the body. 24 But as the church is subject to Christ, so also the wives ought to be to their husbands in everything. 25 Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself up for her, 26 so that He might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the word.
...what about the Orthodox? They oppose contraception, the homosexual lifestyle, extramarital sex, and the whole lot. Orthodoxy is the faith unchanged.
@AntoineLubnan In terms of the moral teachings and the vast majority of the doctrines, this is indeed correct. This video speaks about the Protestant communities in the main, however.
@Hunter8074 You say BIBLE but it always comes down to INTERPRETING the Bible. Many groups and denominations claim to follow the Bible yet they disagreea mongst themselves which brings us to square 1. Who should interpret???? We Catholics believe it is the Church.
@HeatherOfOz They go by what THEY say the Bible means - and they can say it means anything they like; and they do! There is no central authority, not even the Bible (because they interpret it any way they like). Also, they DON'T go by the Bible - they ignore and marginalize and over-emphasize many passages.
Thank you for having the courage to speak the truth. Many people, Catholics prominent among them, cower rather than boldly proclaim the truth because they fear criticism. The Catholic Church is the ONLY Christian church that can trace its origins to Jesus Christ and his apostles. Period!
Everything he says is true about protestantism. I have asked like 4 diffferent protestant churches and they all have a different stand for example abortion, death penalty, gay marriage and euthanasia.
That's your opinion and I strongly disagree...divorce, contraception, abortion mostly begun in protestant dominated countries and areas
this is the result of the vulnerabilities of protestantism to secularism, its domination by the secular state, and the lack of authority in protestantism
@horrormovies101 Normatively? They are not normatively saved - that is, they are NOT saved by what they do. They CAN go to Heaven, but it is in spite of their Protestantism, NOT because of it.
Okay, well lets say there's a guy doesn't go to church at all but he is one of the most devoted Christians around. He shows the love of Christ to everyone and believes that Jesus is the son of God and died on a cross for our sins. Do you believe he goes to hell?
@horrormovies101 If he does not go to Church, then he is not receiving the Body and Blood of Christ. And Jesus HIMSELF says such a person has no life in him (John 6).
This is the absolute Truth. Thank God for you. St Michael's media: I recently had a brush with some Catholic Charismatics. What is the low down on them?
Woa woa woa would you listen to your self? So your saying if a person that love Jesus Christ and has devoted their life to him and is not Catholic they are Satanic?
No, he is saying that Martin Luther was in some way Satanic. That is a fair assessment - Martin Luther advocated the removal of the Sacraments, which are the ordinary means of salvation. He encouraged people to reject the normal means of being saved.
That is the very definition of Satanic, I think. He was doing the work of Satan by trying to deny salvation to people. He might have been doing it unwillingly or ignorantly, but his intentions really don't matter - he still did a very bad thing.
Someone who rejects the ordinary methods of salvation given by Jesus does NOT love Jesus fully; they are rejecting what Jesus has given us.
Someone who is not Catholic HAS NOT given their whole life to Jesus - because they do not KNOW who Jesus is. They reject the physical presence of Jesus in the Eucharist for a start; they reject Jesus where He physically appears. That is NOT devoting life to Him.
@SaintMichaelsMedia We are all Satanic in a sense. Even the church is flawed. But to say Luther, a man who was a Christian and believed in the real presence in the Eucharist was Satanic is harsh. Disagreements theologically and semantically should not make us immediately doubt a man's salvation. I think Luther had many good teachings but he went overboard on some (as do all denominations).
Regarding protestants embracing non-abortive contraception: It's important to remember that we are no longer stoning homosexuals and those guilty of adultry. Why doesn't violate the law of God?
Firstly, there IS no "non-abortive contraception" - all contraception leads to an abortive mentality which leads to abortion.
Secondly; we do not follow the Jewish laws. We do not condemn contraception because the Jews did - we condemn it because the Christian Church (teaching the truth of Christ) does.
If you disagree about contraception, you disagree with the historical majority of Christian communities and you are holding to a doctrine less than 100 years old. You also disagree with the apostles, and are therefore completely wrong.
It does not matter what INDIVIDUAL Protestants do; the issue is what do the COMMUNITIES officially teach. And the simple fact it; one can be a good Protestant and support abortion - because there is no central authority to tell Protestants what is right or wrong.
As an example, there are Protestants who support contraception, abortion, and homosexuality. They all say they are following God - without a central authority, who can say they are wrong?
Just a note on contraception (which I have said elsewhere); "the Pill" does not always prevent conception; sometimes it works by causing abortions. On average, a couple using the Pill kills over one child a year.
Think on that, those of you who use the Pill or advocate it . . . you are killing your own children.
Contraception, which was given the green light in the Anglican "Council of Lambeth" (1930's) was a major factor in the "Sexual Revolution" of the 60's and the abortion holocaust we now see. Im glad that the Church that was built on ROCK has not and will not change its stance on such important issues.
that's your opinion and I strongly disagree...divorce, contraception, abortion mostly begun in protestant dominated countries and areas
this is the result of the vulnerabilities of protestantism to secularism, its domination by the secular state, and the lack of authority in protestantism
Bible specifically says "water". Right there. Elsewhere in the Bible, it is made CRYSTAL CLEAR baptism is necessary.
Every single Christian before 1517 AD thought it meant baptism. In fact, most Christians AFTER 1517 AD think it means baptism. The Church Fathers, the Apostles, the Saints - ALL thought it meant baptism.
You know better, Shiloh? You are cleverer than them?
He was saved because of HIS ACTION in declaring his faith.
And had he been offered baptism, he would have accepted it.
Baptism is NORMATIVELY necessary. The Bible makes this clear. It is the typical attitude of a Protestant to find an exceptional circumstance, and use it to extrapolate a "rule" ... when there is a clear rule elsewhere!
John 3:5 - born of water. Right there. Every single Christian before 1517AD thought it meant baptism. Every single Apostle said it meant baptism.
This case is closed. I won't tolerate any more discussion of it. It is obvious, and distracting from the main topic - which is the errors of the so-called Protestant faiths and their danger to Christian truth.
Well of course water baptism should be done whenever possible. But here's the thing.....Jesus and the apostles never baptized babies, why should the Catholic Church?
The Bible never says ONCE that babies were not baptized. In fact, the Bible says WHOLE HOUSEHOLDS were baptized. Acts 2:37-39 - a promise about baptism made TO CHILDREN.
Col 2:11-12 says baptism replaces circumcision - which was done to infants.
Your other comments on other videos have been negative and offensive - it is clear you are not interested in dialog or learning (which would be easy, as you are so ignorant of Christianity) but rather distracting the debate and "trolling".
@SaintMichaelsMedia - "You are cleverer than them"??? Thats what I ask protestants when they try to dance around James 2:24 with very new and novel interpretations; I say "Martin Luther knew EXACTLY what that verse meant, thats why he wanted to remove the whole letter from the cannon; do you presume to be smarter than him"????
why will u not allow me to post something? are u afraid that the truth will set people free? u will not succeed although it may seem like u will. lol ur ignorance of ur downfall amuses me. u r only part of the plan that will lead us to better times. though i may not be around to witness it. love all life nd only then can u reach true enlightenment
I just wanted to approve this one - it made me chortle.
>> lol ur ignorance of ur downfall amuses me.
Yes, because someone unable to spell "you" and "your" is clearly the greatest theologian since Aquinas, and not a YouTube geek abusing his mom's internet connection.
Your comments have not been approved because they are the deluded ramblings of an anti-Catholic. Also, they are spelled very badly and it is hard to read them.
This is the last comment I am approving of yours. You are constantly derailing the discussion with your misanthropy and hatred of men.
There is NOTHING wrong with women's RIGHTS. A woman has the RIGHT to be a woman - which means wife, mother, daughter, virgin. She also has a responsibility to be a woman, NOT a pseudo-man!
Women DON'T have a right to contraception, abortion, denial of the need for men, usurpation of male roles, or anything else modern feminism says is woman's right..
I support women's rights - as did Jesus and as does the Catholic Church. Remember, we deny the use of contraception - which is a means by which women are simply turned into objects of male pleasure.
Protestantism does NOT deny contraception - which means Protestantism allows for the turning of women into pleasure objects

Many Protestants do not like the "SHOULD" & "should not" of our Catholic Faith. But do they realize that GOD put forth the Ten Commandments that has "shoulds" and "should nots?"
Let's face it, many protestants do NOT like to be told what to do. What is that?! That is the deadly sin of PRIDE!
Jesus was HUMBLE! We need Jesus & Mary to teach us about HUMILITY & obedience!
before you say something about some group you should at least do a little bit of research on them
most protestants are not the way you say they are and most catholics are not saints
if you look at catholics history without any blinders in your mind you will clearly see that catholics have rejected Jesus long time ago Ten Commandments, why did catholics replased a commandment where you shall not make any image of Me your God(Exodus 20:4). you guys made an idol worship out of Jesus
Oh, and the 10 Commandments thing. This is the last time I am mentioning this; we did not replace a commandment. For thousands of years the commandments were the same order and emphasis as the Catholic Church has. Then the Protestants changed them.
Yes, the PROTESTANTS changed the commandments, And removed books from the Bible.
So; no-more discussions about the Commandments here, please. The Catholic Church has the original versions of them, and the Protestants changed them. Five minutes research with a copy of the Vulgate (the first collected Bible) will reveal this to be the case.
OH! AND the Commandment actually says make no image of ANYTHING. So, I take it all the Protestants are telling their children not to draw pictures of them? And writing to the custodians of the Lincoln Memorial to tell them to destroy the statue? And complaining to God Himself when HE COMMANDS people to make statues?
Give me a break - I am sick and tired of this stuff. People raising such a silly issue again will have their accounts blocked.
Here is the thing that I really wish protestants would understand: protestantism is not Christianity. I know you are all going to jump on me and tell me that if they are baptized them they are Christians but that is a bad argument for two reasons.
One: Most protestants are not baptized in the name of anything other than Me, Myself and I.
Two: Just because a handful of bad Christians on their way to hell show up for a protestant prayer meeting does not legitimize protestantism.
The statement Protestants are not Christians is heresy.
As for your two reasons; your first reason is spurious, slanderous and not accurate. Only validly baptized Protestants are Christians. Your second reason is irrelevant because we not talking about legitimizing Protestantism, we are talking about Protestantism being a form of Christianity.
In any case, the Church herself says that Protestants are Christians if they are validly baptized. They are NOT formal members of the Catholic Church, and so cannot be called Catholics. They are Christians, not Catholics.
Your insistence on your own personal view over and above the formal teaching of the Church is heresy. Please retract that statement, apologize for it and do not post it again. I also advise you to seek confession for your denial of a revealed truth of the faith.
The way that I like to look at it is that I hate Protestantism but I love the Protestant. Most of the time the Protestant Christian is ignorant to the truth. So it is our duty to spread that TRUTH so that they can see the LIGHT and be well on their WAY.
DonusAmbrose, I am unfamiliar with that distinction. Are you sure that this is not just Latin grammar. Sola Scriptura is the correct Latin. Solo is the right case (ablative, indicates the noun the means that the end is accomplished by), but is masculine, not feminine like "Scriptura".
Protestants are like a skin cell. Each time the "skin" that binds them together is broken, they divide, and they divide, and they divide, and they divide, and they divide, and they divide, and they divide, and the divide until the skin is destroyed again, and they continue to divide, and divide, and divide. There are over 30,000 protestant denominations over 400 years.
Pure chance, I assure you! But, there is also the wonderful co-incidence of John 6:66 where we see the non-Christian Jews rejecting Christ, and hence rejecting salvation and embracing damnation. Another one of those co-incidences.
This host seems to presuppose that Protestants recognize no theological authority outside of the Bible (and/or, outside of themselves qua interpreter). I am now Reformed, and I recognize many extra-Scriptural authorities, including councils, creeds, confessions of faith, and great theologians dead and living. I take these QUITE seriously; I just do not see these authorities as *infallible*. This category I reserve for the Word of God, Scripture.
I suggest you realize they are BOTH heresies and wrong and will usually lead to damnation
If nothing but the Bible is infallible, then you can use whatever you like. Which means you can interpret the Bible however you like. Which the the CORE problem with sola scriptura!
I keep hearing that catholic worship idols and is evil and i also heard that the catholic church is the harlot but on the other hand, i heard the catholic church is the true church. Im so confused, are catholics christians? Also, i have this other question:
Should I quit as being a catholic and leave the catholic church?
The accusation of idol worship isn't true - we don't worship idols. We aren't the harlot (that was Jerusalem) and we aren't evil. We are the one true Church Jesus Christ founded.
Don't stop being a Catholic if you want the best chance of getting to Heaven; why would you leave the Church Jesus Christ founded?
Do you worship idols? As a Catholic you should know that that is false- and is a LIE. People had differing views on Jesus as well- some loved him believed HIM- others rejected him, called him evil; and hated him and wanted to kill him....
Wouldn't it be logical to conclude that his Church would experience the same as he- and the people in his church would experience both love and hatred....
Don't leave :) pray for ur Faith to increase and preservere
>> Praying to Mary??? That is blasphemy against Jesus.
So, talking to the mother of a friend is an insult to a friend? Sheesh - hate to live in your crazy world where you aren't allowed to have anything to do with a man's mother.
God honored Mary - why shouldn't we? Out of ALL THE UNIVERSE, she was chosen to be the mother of God. She carried Jesus in her womb. No-one else did that; not an angel, not a pastor or priest, or Luther. The Bible didn't do that.
I have HAD it with smack being talked about Mary. People say praying with her is blasphemy, that she is "nothing more than a vessel." That she is no more important than any other Christian.
ENOUGH! This video isn't about that, and I've had enough with it. If you want to get blocked, just talk smack about the Mother of God. It will happen quickly.
Admittedly, I once believed as it to be blasphemy to pray to Mary. However, at this point I'm not entirely certain anymore. What is the harm in asking another believer to pray for you?
Additionally, Mary isn't dead but actually quite alive. The difference is that she is presentyl with the Lord, we have as of yet to pass into this state. What do you think SMM?
Don't equate "Praying to Mary" (or any saint) As "worship of Mary" - I think you may be confusing these two points. When we pray to Mary we ask for her to pray for us and our needs, just like you would ask your Christian friend to pray for you. Again, do not confuse "praying to" with Worship. We only Worship Jesus.
On earth we talk to eachother, as words pass through the air. To "talk" to someone in heaven, we have to pray. If there is one body, we are not less connected to those in heaven, as the body is no less whole, but more connected to them because they are closer to the Lord than we are. So we pray to saints because we can't talk directly, but we don't worship them. We talk to them and ask them to pray to God for us, to intercede. Nothing more. And who from Scripture gets Jesus to do things for her?
i'm amazed at some people who say "religion doesn't matter, it's just you and Jesus, Jesus didn't establish a church". I mean, did these people read the Bible?? Matthew 16,18 says "you are Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church, and the gates of the netherworld shall not prevail against it". Seems protestants aren't aware of this.
True but (as we have discussed on other videos) that is a false notion. Later on in the 16th chap of Matthew Jesus makes it VERY clear the Church is a place which can be gone to for correction; an organization with authority, not just the group of believers.
The contents of that chapter also caught my eye. If Protestants believe in holding ot the Bible perhaps they should be willing to at least allow this as a point of debate.
The Catholic Church does not like people reading their Bibles because it proves they are the false Antichrist apostate Church system:
Jesus is the Rock not Peter as your Church claims, Peter was just a man like the Pope is:
Matt 16:23 But he turned, and said unto Peter, Get thee behind me, Satan: thou art an offence unto me: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men.
This was just after your false claim about Peter being the Church!
And the FINAL lie. You say Peter is not the rock, yet Jesus says YOU are Peter and on THIS rock. He NEVER mentions anything else. Jesus gives the keys of the Kingdom of Heaven to PETER. You don't give keys to a confession of faith.
Jesus spoke Aramaic, in which one word for "rock", cephas, is both "Peter" and "rock". The Greek requires feminine and masculine endings, in which "petra" means rock, but you can't call man a female name. So Greek forces petra to Petros. There is no closer way in Greek to record what Jesus said in Aramaic. You can't base the Protestant idea of "big rock" and "little rock" on a passage with Aramaic underpinnings that in no way suggest anything other than cephas and Cephas being the same thing.
i feel sorry for this man. he is so fullo f hate to the only church that christ first himself built..

Peterneuh 8 months ago
@Peterneuh Peter, can you prove those lies you just stated above? Show me the documents that prove what you say...you can't, because they do not exist...rememer "A lie cannot be proven, but the truth can" Come home to Rome, Peter...Your soul will thank you for it.
oofahman 7 months ago
@Peterneuh I forgot to reply to this! Silly man! Are you really saying that a Catholic cannot be saved, simply because of his membership in the Church? So, you are saying there is a limit to the ability of God? You are saying God can be prevented from having His grace reach someone? What little faith you have in Christ!
Also; context of the Holy Bible? You mean, the Bible we wrote? And protected? And defended with our blood? That one?
SaintMichaelsMedia 7 months ago 5
@Peterneuh
Go away FALSE PROPHET!!! You do not fool people with your false beliefs.
Sola Scriptura (Bible Only) = Not in the Bible
Sola Fide (Faith Only) = Not in the Bible
tacotony24 7 months ago 3
@Peterneuh Funny, reading the Bible actually led me INTO the Catholic Church... As an evangelical I was disturbed that the Bible actually clearly taught against the things I had always believed in, like once saved always saved, sola fide, etc. and that only the Catholic Church had a truly biblical approach to anything.
agentjs09 7 months ago 2
@agentjs09 thats the problem, you just "read" it without the guidance of the Holy Spirit. A deep and careful study will never lead anyone TO the catholic church, but it will lead you away from it.
SyntheticStuntMan 7 months ago
@SyntheticStuntMan What an arrogant response! A man responds to someone saying he should read the Bible so he leaves Catholicism by saying the Bible led him to Catholicism, and then you say "Oh, well - you didn't read it with the Holy Spirit". What arrogance and foolishness - and circular reasoning! You are saying Catholicism is wrong because you believe Catholicism to be wrong, and not making any actual sense. There are many people who carefully study the Bible and become Catholic.
SaintMichaelsMedia 7 months ago 3
@SyntheticStuntMan Might it be that YOU do not have the guidance of the Holy Spirit? And that you have not carefully studied the Bible? It is just as easier to say that - easier, in fact; the Bible is a Catholic document and supports Catholic doctrine.
SaintMichaelsMedia 7 months ago 2
Full of lies young man. Why don't you encourage the people to read the bible themselves and then they will see the errors in your thinking. I guess you wish it was still written in Latin and then you could tell them what ever you wanted them to believe. I hope the God of the bible will open your eyes and heart and you to will come to know the truth.
BrendanMurrayJubana 8 months ago
@BrendanMurrayJubana What a silly person you are! Of course people should read the Bible - the Church has always encouraged this. Remember, it was the Church who translated it into the language most people understood (Latin) and then first translated it into the vernacular (long before Luther et al). And the Church STILL attaches benefits to reading it, and STILL reads it at Mass today! Why, if you attend Mass in three years you will hear most of the Bible read to you!
SaintMichaelsMedia 8 months ago
@BrendanMurrayJubana Also, &I don't expect a sensible answer, if the Church didn't want the Bible read, why didn't she just destroy it? For 1500 years she was the only game in town - the only people with access to the Bible according to your theory. Why not destroy the book in that instance? Your thesis (such as it is) is full of holes, and informed by hatred and ignorance. I pray you can come to love Christ as He wishes to be loved - in His Church which is the pillar and foundation of truth.
SaintMichaelsMedia 8 months ago 5
@BrendanMurrayJubana no, YOU are the liar, Brendan. Protestantism is of Satan because of all the division it has caused...There are now over 40,000 "Non Catholic" Churches out there today (The World Christian encyclopedia, a PROTESTANT publication) Can you honestly tell me that those 40,000 'churches' all teaching something different from each other yet using the SAME scriptures are RIGHT? Absolutely NOT!! Satan definitely has a hand in Protestantism!! >:-(
oofahman 7 months ago
@BrendanMurrayJubana Umm hellooo? What's the point of reading it if they're not going to have any guidance?? You tell people to go and "read the bible themselves". Ok, and what makes you think they're not going to interpret it incorrectly? The point he was trying to make wasn't that people shouldn't read it, it's that people shouldn't interpret it alone... Everything he said about what Protests cave into is clear evidence of the error of Sola Scriptura and the chaos is causes...

Divorce isn't accepted by Catholicism...but annulment is.
priyonjoni 1 year ago

TenderTrap86 1 year ago
@TenderTrap86 We did an episode on the Schism and the Orthodox. Sedevacantists are so easily refuted; when Jesus says "on this rock" to Peter, you know He can't have meant "except for when the gates of Hell WILL prevail, of course!"
SaintMichaelsMedia 1 year ago
You have a point about moral compromise in some Protestant churches.
steffyb528 1 year ago
@0:56,
And in Galatians 2 we see that Paul rebuked the Pope of that church for teaching a false gospel. Had Peter not changed his doctrine, his church would not have been part of the true Church.
Drregaleagle 1 year ago
@Drregaleagle Actually, in Gal we see Paul rebuking Peter for not DOING what he was TEACHING. Peter was teaching the right thing, but just not walking the talk. That is a matter of personal impecability, not infallibility. Peter and the popes have always taught the correct thing (as they are protected by the Holy Spirit) but have not always done it.
SaintMichaelsMedia 1 year ago 3
This is unreal. I had no idea Catholics teach this stuff. Let's pick up our Bibles people! I AM SHOCKED.
MrBillyonenut 1 year ago
@MrBillyonenut Yes, pick up your Bibles yourself and read them yourselves, rather than only listening to lies Protestant preachers spout about what the Bible contains and means! Read the Bible, which is a CATHOLIC document! Excellent suggestion, Billy!
SaintMichaelsMedia 1 year ago 2
@SaintMichaelsMedia You refer to the living word of God as a catholic DOCUMENT?
MrBillyonenut 1 year ago
@MrBillyonenut Of course! Because all the New Testament was written by Catholics who followed Peter the Pope, and because the entirety of the Bible was chosen, protected, translated, published, copied and spread by the Catholic Church! Why, the Bible didn't appear until the Catholic Councils got together and decided what was in it under the guidance of the Holy Spirit! Protestants didn't appear until much later - and then they hacked scripture up. Very antiChristian are Protestants
SaintMichaelsMedia 1 year ago
@SaintMichaelsMedia I know this is late, but there's something I'd like to add...
If you read the Gospels, and take Christ's word literally, you have the Catholic faith. Plain and simple. The Catholic Church is the only church that takes Christ at His word. Every other Church deviates, as if to say "Well, Christ didn't really mean that..."
As GK Chesterton said, the Catholic Church is the only messenger that refuses to tamper with the original message. The gates of Hell shall not prevail.

WorthDieing4 1 year ago
@WorthDieing4 The pope did NOT "cave" - read the entire article. He specifically says using condoms is NOT a moral solution, but rather that someone who is ALREADY sinfully having sex chosing to use a condom may represent moving in the right direction. It is like a bank robber chosing not to take a gun in case he kills someone - it is still wrong to rob a bank, but it is less bad to do so unarmed.
Also, sorry you are a "born again". I will pray for your conversion to the Truth.

@WorthDieing4 You are obviously a silly and ignorant man, and I see no purpose in dealing with you any longer. If you had actually bothered to READ the pope's comments and other things the Church has written and said, you would know he and we DO call people to repent! There are many protestant communities which do NOT teach this.

chmmy3 1 year ago
@chmmy3 True, but with contraception it is always lust and always evil.
SaintMichaelsMedia 1 year ago
@SaintMichaelsMedia It is what is going on in the inside that determines such a thing, not what is on the outside, would you agree?
chmmy3 1 year ago
@chmmy3 No, I would say it is BOTH. The external events are caused by internal decisions, and the choice to use contraception is an evil one based on selfishness and an unwillingness to commit fully to a fellow human being in the appropriate use of the sexual act (that is, to build up the family by the potential generation of new life, the most sacred creative act we can participate in).
Contraception is evil. Contracepted sex is lust, pure and simple.

Woa woa woa would you listen to your self? So your saying if a person that love Jesus Christ and has devoted their life to him and is not Catholic they are Satanic?
That is just plain wrong...
horrormovies101 2 years ago
No, he is saying that Martin Luther was in some way Satanic. That is a fair assessment - Martin Luther advocated the removal of the Sacraments, which are the ordinary means of salvation. He encouraged people to reject the normal means of being saved.
That is the very definition of Satanic, I think. He was doing the work of Satan by trying to deny salvation to people. He might have been doing it unwillingly or ignorantly, but his intentions really don't matter - he still did a very bad thing.
SaintMichaelsMedia 2 years ago
Someone who rejects the ordinary methods of salvation given by Jesus does NOT love Jesus fully; they are rejecting what Jesus has given us.
Someone who is not Catholic HAS NOT given their whole life to Jesus - because they do not KNOW who Jesus is. They reject the physical presence of Jesus in the Eucharist for a start; they reject Jesus where He physically appears. That is NOT devoting life to Him.
SaintMichaelsMedia 2 years ago 2
@SaintMichaelsMedia We are all Satanic in a sense. Even the church is flawed. But to say Luther, a man who was a Christian and believed in the real presence in the Eucharist was Satanic is harsh. Disagreements theologically and semantically should not make us immediately doubt a man's salvation. I think Luther had many good teachings but he went overboard on some (as do all denominations).
TheArsenalfc101 1 year ago
@TheArsenalfc101 >> We are all Satanic in a sense
Not to the extent a Protestant is, who DENIES THE SACRAMENTS. That is the core thing here. If you deny the Sacraments, you are denying salavation.

Regarding protestants embracing non-abortive contraception: It's important to remember that we are no longer stoning homosexuals and those guilty of adultry. Why doesn't violate the law of God?
FiberMania 2 years ago
Firstly, there IS no "non-abortive contraception" - all contraception leads to an abortive mentality which leads to abortion.
Secondly; we do not follow the Jewish laws. We do not condemn contraception because the Jews did - we condemn it because the Christian Church (teaching the truth of Christ) does.
We are not Jews. We are Christians.
SaintMichaelsMedia 2 years ago
I would disagree on the issue of conctraception Mr.Voric.
I know plenty of protestants that are more family valued based then most Catholic nowadays.
ChristainPatriot01 2 years ago
If you disagree about contraception, you disagree with the historical majority of Christian communities and you are holding to a doctrine less than 100 years old. You also disagree with the apostles, and are therefore completely wrong.
SaintMichaelsMedia 2 years ago
It does not matter what INDIVIDUAL Protestants do; the issue is what do the COMMUNITIES officially teach. And the simple fact it; one can be a good Protestant and support abortion - because there is no central authority to tell Protestants what is right or wrong.
As an example, there are Protestants who support contraception, abortion, and homosexuality. They all say they are following God - without a central authority, who can say they are wrong?
SaintMichaelsMedia 2 years ago
Just a note on contraception (which I have said elsewhere); "the Pill" does not always prevent conception; sometimes it works by causing abortions. On average, a couple using the Pill kills over one child a year.
Think on that, those of you who use the Pill or advocate it . . . you are killing your own children.
SaintMichaelsMedia 2 years ago
Contraception, which was given the green light in the Anglican "Council of Lambeth" (1930's) was a major factor in the "Sexual Revolution" of the 60's and the abortion holocaust we now see. ShilohVoice 2 years ago
That isn't what the Bible says - John 3:5
Bible specifically says "water". Right there. Elsewhere in the Bible, it is made CRYSTAL CLEAR baptism is necessary.
Every single Christian before 1517 AD thought it meant baptism. In fact, most Christians AFTER 1517 AD think it means baptism. The Church Fathers, the Apostles, the Saints - ALL thought it meant baptism.
You know better, Shiloh? You are cleverer than them?

Baptism is NORMATIVELY necessary. The Bible makes this clear. It is the typical attitude of a Protestant to find an exceptional circumstance, and use it to extrapolate a "rule" ... when there is a clear rule elsewhere!
SaintMichaelsMedia 2 years ago
John 3:5 - born of water. Right there. Every single Christian before 1517AD thought it meant baptism. Every single Apostle said it meant baptism.
This case is closed. I won't tolerate any more discussion of it. It is obvious, and distracting from the main topic - which is the errors of the so-called Protestant faiths and their danger to Christian truth.

It is clear you are not Christian, Chyla - or at least have never read the Bible.
John 3:22 - clearly says the Apostles and Christ baptized.
Matthew 28:19 - says we should baptize
The Bible never says ONCE that babies were not baptized. In fact, the Bible says WHOLE HOUSEHOLDS were baptized. Acts 2:37-39 - a promise about baptism made TO CHILDREN.
Col 2:11-12 says baptism replaces circumcision - which was done to infants.
It is sad when there is such ignorance.

Women DON'T have a right to contraception, abortion, denial of the need for men, usurpation of male roles, or anything else modern feminism says is woman's right..
SaintMichaelsMedia 2 years ago
I support women's rights - as did Jesus and as does the Catholic Church. Remember, we deny the use of contraception - which is a means by which women are simply turned into objects of male pleasure.
Protestantism does NOT deny contraception - which means Protestantism allows for the turning of women into pleasure objects

Your name is apropriate - you are simple and mean.
ALL Protestants are like that - they PROTEST because they don't like being told what to do!
Also, who said Catholics were "saints"? Certainly not the person you were responding to - so we can safely ignore that.
SaintMichaelsMedia 2 years ago
Oh, and the 10 Commandments thing. This is the last time I am mentioning this; we did not replace a commandment. For thousands of years the commandments were the same order and emphasis as the Catholic Church has. Then the Protestants changed them.
Yes, the PROTESTANTS changed the commandments, And removed books from the Bible.
SaintMichaelsMedia 2 years ago
So; no-more discussions about the Commandments here, please. The Catholic Church has the original versions of them, and the Protestants changed them. Five minutes research with a copy of the Vulgate (the first collected Bible) will reveal this to be the case.
SaintMichaelsMedia 2 years ago

Two: Just because a handful of bad Christians on their way to hell show up for a protestant prayer meeting does not legitimize protestantism.
quomodocumque 2 years ago
The statement Protestants are not Christians is heresy.
As for your two reasons; your first reason is spurious, slanderous and not accurate. Only validly baptized Protestants are Christians. Your second reason is irrelevant because we not talking about legitimizing Protestantism, we are talking about Protestantism being a form of Christianity.
SaintMichaelsMedia 2 years ago
In any case, the Church herself says that Protestants are Christians if they are validly baptized. They are NOT formal members of the Catholic Church, and so cannot be called Catholics. They are Christians, not Catholics.
Your insistence on your own personal view over and above the formal teaching of the Church is heresy. Please retract that statement, apologize for it and do not post it again. I also advise you to seek confession for your denial of a revealed truth of the faith.

"...Protestantism being a form of Christianity."

There are over 30,000 protestant denominations over 400 years.
moo5009 2 years ago
moo5009 - Yeah and it is growing. Those days are not faraway when you will see 300,000 Protestant denomination.
Each protestant is his own little pope. They agree that bible is word of God, but they can not agree about what bible means.

Actually, not all of them agree on that :)

Funny how this episode is #66. Very interesting.

It's Sola Scriptura, not 'Solo' Scriptura.
Thomistica 2 years ago
>> It's Sola Scriptura, not 'Solo' Scriptura.
"Sola" means alone - so sola scriptura CANNOT mean recognising anything else! You fail the first logical hurdle.
>> I am now Reformed,
Sorry to hear that. You might want to change your profile, because as of this moment it says you are a Catholic - which is a lie. And lying is a sin.
SaintMichaelsMedia 2 years ago
I'd suggest you study the difference between 'Sola' and 'Solo' Scriptura, as discussed by both Protestant and Catholic theologians.
DonusAmbrose 2 years ago
I suggest you realize they are BOTH heresies and wrong and will usually lead to damnation
If nothing but the Bible is infallible, then you can use whatever you like. Which means you can interpret the Bible however you like. Which the the CORE problem with sola scriptura!

Thomy, Thomy, Thomy ...
Another person who had the Fullness of the Faith, but who is now lost to the world of partial truths and falsehoods.
Follow the Teachings of Christ Thomy, and not the teachings of mere men (as you do, when you follow the "Reformers").
Sadly, you should now change your name to "Reformistica" ...

I keep hearing that catholic worship idols and is evil and i also heard that the catholic church is the harlot but on the other hand, i heard the catholic church is the true church. Im so confused, are catholics christians? Also, i have this other question:
Should I quit as being a catholic and leave the catholic church?
flameboy1236 2 years ago
The accusation of idol worship isn't true - we don't worship idols. We aren't the harlot (that was Jerusalem) and we aren't evil. We are the one true Church Jesus Christ founded.
Don't stop being a Catholic if you want the best chance of getting to Heaven; why would you leave the Church Jesus Christ founded?
SaintMichaelsMedia 2 years ago
Do you worship idols? As a Catholic you should know that that is false- and is a LIE. People had differing views on Jesus as well- some loved him believed HIM- others rejected him, called him evil; and hated him and wanted to kill him....
Wouldn't it be logical to conclude that his Church would experience the same as he- and the people in his church would experience both love and hatred....
Don't leave :) pray for ur Faith to increase and preservere

Praying to Mary??? That is blasphemy against Jesus.
I am the way the truth and the light no one comes to the Father but through me.

SaintMichaelsMedia 2 years ago
I have HAD it with smack being talked about Mary. People say praying with her is blasphemy, that she is "nothing more than a vessel." That she is no more important than any other Christian.
ENOUGH! This video isn't about that, and I've had enough with it. If you want to get blocked, just talk smack about the Mother of God. It will happen quickly.
SaintMichaelsMedia 2 years ago
Admittedly, I once believed as it to be blasphemy to pray to Mary. However, at this point I'm not entirely certain anymore. What is the harm in asking another believer to pray for you?
Additionally, Mary isn't dead but actually quite alive. The difference is that she is presentyl with the Lord, we have as of yet to pass into this state. What do you think SMM?

polgas733 2 years ago

And who from Scripture gets Jesus to do things for her?
dbonneville 2 years ago
i'm amazed at some people who say "religion doesn't matter, it's just you and Jesus, Jesus didn't establish a church". I mean, did these people read the Bible?? Matthew 16,18 says "you are Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church, and the gates of the netherworld shall not prevail against it". Seems protestants aren't aware of this.
godislove010 2 years ago
A great deal of Protestants consider the "church" simply as the body of believers unrelated to a physical place of worship.
Mechanized0 2 years ago
True but (as we have discussed on other videos) that is a false notion. Later on in the 16th chap of Matthew Jesus makes it VERY clear the Church is a place which can be gone to for correction; an organization with authority, not just the group of believers.
SaintMichaelsMedia 2 years ago
The contents of that chapter also caught my eye. If Protestants believe in holding ot the Bible perhaps they should be willing to at least allow this as a point of debate.

The Catholic Church does not like people reading their Bibles because it proves they are the false Antichrist apostate Church system:
Jesus is the Rock not Peter as your Church claims, Peter was just a man like the Pope is:
Matt 16:23 But he turned, and said unto Peter, Get thee behind me, Satan: thou art an offence unto me: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men.
This was just after your false claim about Peter being the Church!
theonewillcome 2 years ago
"The Catholic Church does not like people reading their Bibles "
A lie. The Church actively encourages Bible reading. She attaches special graces to those who read the Bible. The BIble is read at every single Mass.
You are a liar.
SaintMichaelsMedia 2 years ago
"This was just after your false claim about Peter being the Church! "
That verse is in reference to Peter asking that Jesus never die, NOT the foundation of the Church.
Another lie from you.
SaintMichaelsMedia 2 years ago
And the FINAL lie. You say Peter is not the rock, yet Jesus says YOU are Peter and on THIS rock. He NEVER mentions anything else. Jesus gives the keys of the Kingdom of Heaven to PETER. You don't give keys to a confession of faith.
So, three lies there.
SaintMichaelsMedia 2 years ago
Let us simply post the direct verse:
"And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it."
----Matthew 16:18
Admittedly, it is extremely difficult to deny the clarity of this passage.
