Also the tail lights look no where similar to each other; once again the tail lights are more than likely taken from Audi.

this is one terrible looking car. saw one on the road the other day, just hideous, i cant understand how VW would relase this dour looking car in australia when the competition has beautiful designs like the honda accord euro, mazda 6, ford modeo, hyudnai i45 and the new kia optima. no doubt its a well built car but german and in particular VW design of late has been terrible.

i love the new LEDs they look like real eyes. i mean the projector beam is like the eye ball and the surrounding leds make the rest of the eyes beautiful ( u need some imagination to look at it in this way lol.). but over all its very nice.

The front led's are in conjunction with the bi zenon lights only as are the rear led's.€1260 extra in Ireland anyway. Production standard are normal lights front and rear. no led's.

I feel like they played it safe to avoid cannibalizing their next version of the Passat CC. It's too bad - the substance is there, but the style has been toned down to a generic Toyota-like level.

Absolutly love this new design....its fresh, new, sharp, and diffrent to all compitition, from the likes of the Ford Mondeo, Vauxhall Insigna or Volvo S60....it looks like a slightly smaller Pheaton....and thats not a bad thing....However not sure i like the LEDs at the front, to me they just look like fairy lights, but un-like on the Audi A4 or even the new Range Rover, the new Passat carrys the LEDs the best. This car looks Classy, which is something the old Passat could never quite mannage.
