  • hey did you have you rejet or mess around with engine mixture at all?

  • @Petr074

No, I did not do any adjustments. According to LeoVince there is no need to adjust the mixture with this slip-on muffler.

  • sounds like a roaring lion, i love it.

  • Sounds good. i think I like the m4 exhausts just a little better, then the scorpions after this one.

  • wow! love it. nice.

  • nice man, SV650 is my next bike after my Ninja6 has been written off :(

  • Sounds healthy!

  • beastin hard

  • I like got the same just i cut down 5 cm it was too long for the sv :D

  • without muffler omg what a sound :)

  • nice and sweet :P

  • It sounded frick sweet w/o the muffler!

  • The sound difference is totally massive! Wow!

  • Very nice! Smoking exhaust, very Dirty Harry.

  • haha thanks for the no exhaust part

  • Oh yeah

  • Nice

  • hey which bagster tank protector is that? is that the traditional black one? 1455U?

  • Was it really cold that day?

Would that be why the pipe was smoking so much?

  • if the pipe was just installed its probably just a little oil inside the pipe from the factory...when i installed my yoshimura on my bike it did the same thing and it just burns up and goes away after a little bit

  • Oh ok thanks

By the way, on my stock exhaust, the screws holding the exhaust on are welded so i can't get them off.

How did u get ur exhaust off, just hacksaw after the collector?

  • Yepp, I used a electric hacksaw. The new exhaust came with a guide that showed me where to cut it. You can see where I cut it on the clip without silencer.

  • how much did u pay for that exhaust mate?

  • I bought it threw a retailer in Norway which was pretty expensive ($500) but later I found it on e-bay for $250. It`s a LeoVince SBK which is legal in Europe with the silencer "stubb" in. I took the "stub" out before filming this. It`s easily remounted in 3 minutes (1 screw)

  • Great video, That is probably the best sounding exhaust I have heard for the SV. I would have liked to hear a bit more.

  • Thanks. I think the sound can be a little misleading in this video since it is filmed in a concrete garage, but it sounds great in real life too. I will never remount the stock muffler. Maybe I should sell it on Ebay. What could I charge for it? Anyone?

  • screw ebay.....sell it to me. how much you wwant for it?

  • nice job!

  • little tip....after you have cut ur pipe run the engine to blow any filings or bits out of the pipe...BUT DONT LET ANYONE STAND BEHIND THE BIKE AS ANY BITS WILL FLY OUT

  • Let me know what you think?

  • Oooh:-) Nice design and great sound.

  • Love the smoke affect at 1:17!

  • Sounds nice! I'm getting a Beowulf Warrior, I love the shape and was wondering how you cut the stock exhaust, hack saw or disc cutter?

  • I used an electric hack saw/tiger saw. A little tip: Place a wooden piece between the pipe and the bike before cutting. So you don`t cut the bike when you get threw the pipe.

A disc cutter sends glowing sparks that can damage your paintjob.

  • it would be so obnoxious riding around like that without any muffler on it, sounds good with the new one

  • ACE!

  • much better sound without any muffler

  • Did you have to "remap" the SV after putting on the the skip-on??

  • I have no idea what that means. And I`m pretty shure i haven`t done it.

  • Its the equivalent to re-jetting a carb, only for fuel injection. Usually, just for exhaust, no remapping is required.

  • that sounds like such a beast without any muffler :D

  • that fuckin thing puuuurrrrsss

  • Gorgeous noise! gergeous bike too...

    is that garage enclosed?

Don't want ya contracting something now do we? (meaning Getting ill)

  • Yes the garage is enclosed, and big. So the noise is maybe exaggerated.

  • What year is this bike? Im gettin one soon after i sell my yz125 :O. I LOVE IT WITHOUT THE MUFFLER XD can you notice loss in power?

  • It is a 2005 model. I have never driven it without any muffler. I can not notice any effectloss with the Leovince.

  • nice vid. I love the sound with no can. But I wonder if anyone has tried one of the many slip on's they make for harley's on a SV. You know what I mean, why not, they're cheaper an they look an sound nice.

  • Very nice bike, great sound!

  • Very nice...that's got an authoritative note now!

  • sweetness dude!! is that a slip on or the whole kit?

  • This is a slip on, but without the db killer. I tok the db killer out (one screw)before filming.

  • beautifal bike anyway but with the leovince its jsu something else i havnt had a chance to get a go on an sv yet what are they like to ride

  • It is a really fun bike to ride at low speeds because og the V-twin engine with high torque. There is allways plenty of power available and you don`t have to change to lower gears to bypass cars. But if you like high speeds and an engine that can stand high rpm. Then this is not the bike for you. Topspeed of around 220km/h (140m/H. It is a fune bike to ride at lower speeds.

  • Good ol SV, 30K mi on it, still started up every time this winter.

  • Hey i just got an 05 sv650 and i wanted to know how much your exhaust cost?

  • I bought it threw a retailer in Norway which was pretty expensive ($500) but later I found it on e-bay for $250. It`s a LeoVince SBK which is legal in Europe with the silencer "stubb" in. I took the "stub" out before filming this. It`s easily remounted in 3 minutes (1 screw)

  • I love your sound effects at 0:36.

  • Thanks. I worked really hard to get that just right:-)

  • damn wihtout a muffler is by far the sickest,

  • It sounds so sweet without a muffler! Why don't you ever see sport bikes like that? It's always Harleys!

  • because it takes away power. Harley doesent really car about power

  • Get rid of db-killer baffles, I heard they cause homosexual tendencies.

    Hope this helps,

    God bless.

  • Everyone is allowed to have their opinion. To bad your opinion is totally gayhomosexual. Stop your crying little fagit.

  • awesome video man! very professional. thanks!

  • I like it alot. I'm thinking about what bike i want to buy next year and the SV1000 is one on my list to look at.

  • RE:ian05rado The SV1000 is on my list aswell. I love my bike, but I`m thinking of getting some more power next summer.

  • So its just a slip on not a full exhuast

  • RE: TopGearAmerica Thats right. This is only the slip on. The full exhaust requiers tuning off ignition to not actually loose HP. (I`ve been told this by the guys in the shop)

  • leovince sounds nice!

  • Thank you!!! I'm going to buy a new hack saw blade!!!

  • best sv650 exhuast i heard!! how much for slipon.

  • lol sounds like a pretty mad animal :D w/o muffler

  • i vote you leave the muffler off...

  • without it sounds like a dragster :P

  • Nice sound effects when you moved in on the new exhaust :P

    Sounds nice.

  • Woooo, sounds pretty good !!
