Gidon Kremer played this as an encore in concert last sunday in Amsterdam: brilliant!!. And I softly hummed to myself the words as sung by the Comedian Harmonists:
"Dein Kuß hat mir den Frühling gebracht. Als du mir entgegengelacht, lag in deinem zärtlichen Blick eine ganze Welt voll Glück. Nur du bist für mich das Leben. Kann nicht mehr ohne dich sein. Alles will ich dir geben, denn dir gehör' ich, dir allein!"
@daniel94ne I know, that I can not alter without making a whole new video. It will have to stand as is. Must have been having a moment when I typed it.
I've only heard this before as Max Raabe's version of 'Die Liebe Kommt, die Liebe Geht'. It is really nice to hear this original, beautiful version. Thank you for posting.
I first heard this by Max Raabe, and fell in love with it. I long to sing it in my own little Donald Duck way. This version brings tears. Thank you, thank you. A very fine way to start my day.
Absolutely no one else had such passion for and mastery of his instrument. Kreisler was the greatest of them all. He literally lifts one out of this world to a higher and lovelier place.
Candy, Fritz could do no wrong and his beautiful art is still enjoyed by many this very day. Enjoy this and the many others to come and thank as always for watching!
