But I hated wearing them, so before my vision got worse, I remember being in 2nd grade, taking them off as soon as I got to school, and storing them in my desk, planning on putting them back on before I got home. Katilette! I experienced almost the exact same thing when I was fifteen. I lived in a very rural area, shadowed by the blue ridge mountains and a lot of forestry, so I missed so much of it for so many years! The day that I came back home from the optometrist was in the Fall and the first thing I noticed was how defined all of the individual fallen leaves were in the driveway compared to the brown and red mush that I used to see. What a funny memory!
