@itsmeshawman I like the Xbox overall, I bought one and Forza 3, but Forza or the Xbox can't even match the realism, speed, graphics, and physics of a PS3 with GT5. But, Xbox wins over the Play Station in most other ways.
This video deserves 1,000,000 views but if they had another $500 specifically for the car rental and 2-3 more laps to make it more realistic. They did set a $1000 budget but I'm not sure that included return ticket otherwise they met their goal and made a fantastic video in the process.

Although you've been there for the first time you found out what makes it one of the most interesting tracks in the world. Big compliment to you and thanks for the great video. Granted, they may not have used a carbon offset trip, or first class seating, but, that's the ball-park figure as I researched the prices. Again, everyone takes different trips.
984=/= 1 lap of Nürburgring. No round-trip flight costs, no lodging, no food, and even the flight costs to get there seemed lower than they should be. In fact, the average flight from Germany to America, or America to Germany costs $3000-5000. Round trips=$6000 to $10,000. Then, you can rent some cars from businesses like RSR-Nürburgring, but that costs thousands of dollars. Otherwise, bring your own car. Also, the Nürburgring will wear down a good set of tires within ten laps, so that'll cost.

@mhaseck The lights on Audi's are LED's. Cameras cannot steadily pick up a light emitting diode. I do not know why they can't. Maybe something to do with the kinds of gases they emit.

It was an awesome episode! Don't listen to haters. They are all just jealous. They would be so happy to drive on the Nürbürgring in a C4 Picasso as well! The car was the best for this project, it made the whole episode more fun(ny) and awesome. Since there isn't any C4 in the US, you could show us and tell about the car more. As well as Europe. @damphear2 How many times have you been around the ring? My guess is zero. Stop hating on someones dream getting fulfilled. Besides this is FLD not Motortrend; they had to do what was within they're budget. I don't see any of us forking over money to help they're production values.

So Bystronicman08 one reason that Derek may not know how to pump his own gas is because he lives in New Jersey and in that state they think that the common man is not smart enough to pump their own gas making a law that a gas attendant must pump the gas.

But hell yeah, although things may be a bit more pricey, we are used to it, and you could have rented a decent mercedes or bmw to ride in there, even if money was really an issue, you could have gotten a decent french or italian to drive there, the minivan.. bad choice man. And I have a C4, but its 2.1L and 180Hp Diesel :) Coupe. Nurburgring PWNS

@mhaseck The lights on Audi's are LED's. Cameras cannot steadily pick up a light emitting diode. I do not know why they can't. Maybe something to do with the kinds of gases they emit.
P.S. Its time for a new host. He is good in this video, and the quality of this vid is excellent. But, he annoys me when he is just standing there trying to be funny.

@mhaseck they arnt actually flashing they are led tail lights. something to do with the refresh rate of the camera makes them appear like they are flashing when filmed

Racing is not a very big spectator sport in Germany.
