how come people playing other MMO's than wow always have to compare it to wow? While we almost never talk of other games? Because wow is just the most played (and best may I add) game out there. The classes that were removed will be added back in later. It's just that they dont have time to work on them before the release deadline. They can spend more time fine tuning whats already in the game and enhancing the mechanics, which is good i guess.

Plp will never understand that we all must move farward to somthing new. If that wasn't the case in our lives we will still be living in stone age! I agree. I bought AOC, and I think it's fun, but it's just barely going to be able to hold me over until this comes out. I've been waiting for this for a long time. Everytime I see a new video I get more excited. The game has really come a long way, and with all the extra resources that EA was able to provide Mythic, the game is just going to be ridiculously huge and engrossing.

I agree it has its flaws, its just not my type of game. The first 20 levels were a great way to start a game and something new and insteresting. only bad thing is after doing it a few times it gets a bit boring. The game in general for me gets boring as well so dont see me playing it for more than a month or so, and many others feel the same way. Its just a niche game for many and they will move on after this summer.
Actually, Age of Conan is a GREAT MMORPG, that just released. It have is flaws, but minor ones. I don't agree at all with the "poor endgame content" comment, since there are raid istances, guild villages (wich are very well structured, with the architect profession and the different tiers)and Battlekeeps on border kingdoms to fight for. It lacks some polish (that's kinda normal for a new released MMO), but the game itself is nice
I hope they make it so you actually can take over the capital city but not make it too easy on the other hand. If you were never able to take over the city and it only happened on rare occassions on few realms that would be lame, but it would also suck if it the cities fell like every day. I'd say that the cities should be taken over on average about once a week to keep things fun and interesting.

But As for the populations I dont even think AoC will be #2, because many people are already wanting to leave because they realize how unfinished the game is after like level 40. I don't agree there. It's more like a german name. The Empire is based on the Holy Roman Empire (medieval Germany) and the name Altdorf is naturaly a german-sounding name. Ever heared of Düsseldorf? The names of dwarfen cities in Warhammer like Karaz-a-Karak, Karak Varh, Zhufbar sound more like those from Lord of the Rings. (For those who don't know, the only big dwarfen city you get to enter in WAR is the capitol of Karaz-a-Karak, not the others I mentioned.)

i beg to differ...the germans at that time might have been "romanized" but not everybody spoke latin..mostly the elite and the religious knew latin..it was only a small percentage of the population...it doesn't mean when you conquer the people they would learn the language..the ones that benefited the most from learning the language were traders..latin began to have an impact on europe when emperor Constantine declared christianity the only religion :)

Altdorf looks nice, though Altdorf is more like a Dwarven name...
