Actually, this plane looks exactly like the Harrier. The tail fins and rudder look exactly like it, you can see for a moment at 0:31 that the wheels are the same, et cetera. The designers probably just took the model for the Harrier and used it for this.

@slyer234 Carpet Bombing is illegal due to the Geneva Convention, it uses precision laser-guided bombs on confirmed targets only, and MW2's "precision airstrike" was the most horrible example ever made of such tactic. As a player of that game I know for a fact that the aircraft fly MUCH too low, there should only be one aircraft, and only one bomb should be used. That game really mislead a lot of people.

I figured out that if you just keep riding it (leaving the military guy as the driver) then you dont turn or land you just keep going straight into the edge of the map and it seems like you're still moving but the map says otherwise. I can't explain it very well but i have a video of it to clarify (not trying to spam or anything)

The developers couldn't put a proper harrier that could hover in the game. So they made a plane that was based on the harriers appearance and stopped it being VTOL.
