  • I think this shows individual pronunciation rather than accent. I would be very interested to hear everyone say a couple of sentences. I love accents.

  • I'm from Edmonton just like Jordan, but I pronounce everything like Kat.

  • @devourerofbabies Me to :D

  • All the Canadians and the British pronounced lieutenant wrong "lef-tenant" the Americans and french pronounce it "loo-tenant".......

  • Thanks for making me laugh again :)

  • there's a lot of french words !!

  • Hey you forgot the most distinctive Canadian Accent the Maritimes or even a Newfie you should have your buddies from UK listen to Them if you didn't know people living in Atlantic Canada sound a awhole alot different I even hear people still say mate up there you should check it out hey over here it's vice verse we say we sound Canadian lol

  • I had this playing out loud because nobody besides myself is around except my dog, Yoshi. When she heard her name, she came running. I had to pause the video until I stopped laughing.

  • I'm from edmonton, but I say words more like the ontario girl... strange

  • interesting video. thanks

  • I have a Nova Sotian accent... Lol! It's sounds sooo funny when I get mad!

  • I'm from the East Coast of Canada, I have an accent like yours. The only word I said differently from ou was missile. You should proflie a Cape Breton or a NFLD accent :p

  • You totally rock. You totally rock. You totally rock. You totally rock. (one for each accent :P)

  • @brngrgld Aw! You're only like my favourite person ever! YOU totally rock!

  • of course the guy on the last vid had an english accent im from dudley black country not that black country -_- ;D lol

  • I love the Canadian accent :)

  • Love the vid! x

  • If you can find a newfoundlander get there accent up here!!! or a quebecer

  • I've got the Maritime accent ! :) Apparently I say "car" weird :S

  • Lol the way Canadian's say 'adidas' is so so weird

  • Say about

  • I wanna do this XD

    I'm from long Island~

  • This was amazing. Do more!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Alright, I'm from Toronto and I say many of the words in this video differently (for example: buoy, military, Lieutenant [which you all said incorrectly, ask anyone from either respective service]) so I can only assume that's an education/class difference. Moreover, the guy from Edmonton is butchering the hell out of the language, he can't seriously speak like that.

  • So, traditionally, in Canada -as far as I know- Lieutenant is pronounced Leftenant.

  • most british peaple cant tell the difference between american and canadian accents. ( im English)

    UK; Great Britain and northen irelend.

    Great Britian; England scotland wales

    United Kingdom consits of sovrein natoins

  • @dec370

    peaple = people

    northen = northern

    irelend = Ireland

    consits = consists

    sovrein = sovereign

    natoins = nations

    lol.

  • you should show newfoundland its funny. XD

  • DOES JORDAN HAVE A YOUTUBE?!

  • @vH3L3N4v Holy moly! I'm not sure, I'll ask him for ya, though! Hang in there bud!

  • @outloudkat "holy moly" makes you sound so british, ha! yeah let me know. and if he doesn't, tell him to make one. cause he's sexy X

  • @vH3L3N4v Unfortunately, Jordan does not have a YouTube channel. I'm sorry! He said he might get one, though; he's a musician.

  • @outloudkat Oh damn :( Yeah force him to get one! The fact he's a musician just makes him even hotter... X

  • Miss-eye-le?! I'd just say missle. P-you-ma. XD

  • Im from Hamilton, a city a little less than an hour from toronto, but I find that you say some words weird...like ONvelope, and a lot of people from here would read York SHIRE not York SHER, so there is proof to people that not everyone in the same area has the same accent. This video was cool, though.

  • the northern england accent is so funny, i mean cute

  • very original video! i love it...

  • U LUK LYK UGLEH BETTEH!!!!!

  • @jackotheripper Sigh, thank you.

  • @outloudkat Itttt was a joke, calm your bones, I have watched 8 of your videos today, including one where you empty your billabong bag, one where you watch the Royal Wedding on a big screen, one where you look out of your ex-housemate Richard's window and one where you explain in a rather creepy manner how you obtained a recording of charlieissocoollike to affix to the end of your vlogs. For me to appear to you as an abusive commenter was only a facade.

  • I pronounce 'router' the same as you, but then again I'm from Toronto ...

    RWAR-tur ... =3

  • @fuuyin rooter sounds weird, eh? I didn''t even know people called them rooters hahaha (Hamilton)

  • Disappointed that neither of the English people can pronounce Lieutenant correctly! Great video, Kat! :)

  • Hey mail me some words that I might say different from you cuz on from north dakota and a lota people say I got an accent when I don't hear one and I'll reply a video of me saying them.

  • That was fun to listen to! Great idea for a video!

  • @MackTeaVee Why, thank you, sir!

  • you said every word the same as i would've said them and i'm from western texas,USA. :P

  • Canadian accents sound more like American to me. I guessed the accents correctly apart from the word nougat which I thought you would pronounce like the French do.

  • Nu-cu-lar

  • Great video!

    I'm also from Edmonton, and when you and the guy from Edmonton pronounced words differently I pronounced it the same as you. =P

    If you do another one of these videos you should try and get someone from Newfoundland. Comparing their accents to other Canadian ones would be quite awesome!

    ^_^

  • This is an awesome idea that I may or may not steal from you (I'll cite my source).

    The South Ontario accent sounds really close to the Western US accent, that's pretty interesting!

  • The differences were fascinating! Sometimes the matches were not where they were expected! Madness!

  • Wee!

    Nova Scotian accent for the win!

    :D
