Can I ask you was this a video clip (.avi, .mov, mp4, .wmv) or an image sequence. And if its an image sequence, how can I make an image sequence out of a video clip. I can't seem to get boujou to export my content correctly to C4D. I thank you in advance.

@NYCMP1 I don't use C4D so can't help you there. But you can export an image sequence using Quicktime Pro. It's dirt cheap and very useful ;)

How did you make the shadows, some projection thing?

@Yrgen2 I had the same problem with shadows, but no longer.

What you need to do is have a plane perpendicular to the video footage. Your 3d object rests on that plane. Now this is the important bit, wait for it, have you heard of "shadow matte materials"? well apply a shadow matte material to the plane. Create a light sorce with shadows enabled and position it where the light is coming from relative to the video footage.
