Greatest moment of my Leafs fandom. This was the season. The Leafs and the Habs were lining up to play for the Stanley Cup for the 75th Anniversary of the NHL. True, the Leafs might still have lost if Fraser had done his job properly, but they would have had a better chance of winning with a power play and no Gretzky on the ice.

The NHL wanted the Kings to win the Cup so badly from the time Gretzky got traded there..however by 93 it was the last hurrah (or so it seems) for the Canadian based teams ...Edmonton, Calgary and Ottawa all had great single season runs in the last decade but always seemed to be one or two players short (talent wise) in the crunch.
