  • I've never heard of some of these demons before...,Great video and very interesting! The music sent chills down my spine, as it should!

  • wtf is that music? I would like to know its name and author...

  • @publicano777 Read the description.

Its Keith Jarrett's Fourth (Shock, Scatter) from the album Invocations.

  • Are those images the whole gallery of the Collin's dictionary?

Could someone give me a link for download this dictionary in PDF?

  • @Aberwitz88 You can find and download this book in PDF format on the site of the Bibliothèque Nationale de France (gallica.bnf.fr).You have to search for the sixth edition of the Dictionnaire Infernal de Collin de Plancy (1863), the most complete, with 550 etchings. In my video you can see all the pictures concerning the demons.

  • @shivabel Ok. Thanks!

  • @shivabel but that's the french version. Has any1 ever tranlated the full Plancy text to English ?

  • @Alcuard1992 Possibly. But, like any god, it's a matter of faith. Existence is irrelevant.

  • @Specilum Who's that? Cthulhu?

  • @Inediblehulk Cthulhu was a fictional character created in the 1920's by H.P. Lovecraft. It is fictional.

  • I pray that the 1 true God opens your eyes...

  • i have the Dictionnaire du Diable, from Roland Villeneuve really similar, i like those book

  • Thanks for the images, shivabel. Fitting music, too, I would say.

  • @AdventuresInGaming: the Shin Megami Tensei series uses many of these designs. Several of them in Persona4 are spitting images of these illustrations (frex, Orobas, Beelzebub) and others are just slightly different (frex, it has Belphegor sitting on a modern-style toilet lol).

The D&D 3.5 supplement Tome of Magic also uses many of these guys as inspiration in its binder section. (Eurynome, Malphas, Marchosias, etc.)

Neat stuff. Folklore never ceases to amuse.

  • Its very real...I have seen the Lucifer...The child like image in the video....however, in India...these demons disguise as gods and people worship them..ohh well...there are no real gods ..only these creature disguising as gods

  • what book contains this ?

  • is this real? or just fiction?

  • i was wondering, tap is the big creepy guy or the little one in his nape?

  • @MatheusNiisama Tap is the big demon, "He appears in human form at noon, and is said to intensify the passions of love and hatred, and can transport men to different countries." I'm sorry, but i could not write the complete text of this book, but just some excerpts as captions.

  • @shivabel that explains a lot, thanks.

  • ZAEBOS ! haha ebati

  • A seller on E-bay has produced statues that are pictured here, they are amazingly detailed and affordable, very cool for an occultist's collection,I have purchased 6 of them and i am quite satisfied with the quality and uniqueness of the product

  • Holy crap the music is horrible. Gave me a headache.

  • it's funny because, imagine it where actually true, god actually existed, demons existed, etc etc and everything was like it is in this book... the confusion amongst them must have been MASSIVE! you have grand dukes, then you have princes, some are prince of demons, some prince of hell, some are dukes of eastern hell, some of whatnot... semi-dukes, over-dukes, powerful demons, very powerful ones, etcetera etcetera... who the fuck was ruling who and what? oO hahahaha

  • where's gusion?

  • Whatta redundant explaination.... no basis!!!

  • Those aren't demons.Not even scary.

  • this "music"sucks

  • bueno eqs la imaginacion del hombre alcanza una gran magnitud de cualquier manera uno puede dudar

pero sin embargo me deja muy abrumado con los contenidos que deja estas caricaturas pero muy interesantes se merecen un 8 felicidaedes

  • i was dumb enough to buy one back in the days.. hehehe i laugh of that time

  • what is this song

  • Does this grimore actually work?

  • Can anyone tell me the name of the d(a)emon at the very beginning? It is the only one without a name or caption. Thank you.

  • @veryangrystorks It's LURKER

  • @ChopAndRew that would be epic bro, as long as it had these creatures in it.

  • @ReeferVonKush Bro you didn't even buy the book lol way to support the author, and you think u kan hav mor rights? Broseph I think you neeed to calm ur shit, if its just fantasy then there should be a fantasy game based off of it, well a horror game, anywayz quit being a noob and learn to practice rights, you aint a lawyer lol dont tell me what I can and can't do cause ima fuckind do em. So you can play your imaginary gaems with people that dont care on youtube bro have fun, ur legion, ur crazy!

  • @ReeferVonKush im just saying bro. I like to use these creatures as ideas for characters and usernames, avatars and stuff bro. No disrespect but i just think the gaming industry has shitty plots and stuff for games, so I think if i were to go in hell and kill all these fuckers that would be EPIC. Also I bought the book for 50 dollars lol im aloud to say whatever i want about the images.

  • wouldnt a video game based off this shit be the BOMB?!?!?

  • 1:41 GIT IN MAH BELLEH!!!

  • i love the music :P

  • @shivabel Wots the name of the creature at the beggining?

  • Strange but very interesting.

  • Can you give me a link for the whole gallery of the demon images in Dictionnaire Infernal?

  • @Grey7Cow You can see the whole gallery in my video

  • @shivabel Uhmm.. Okay, that'll need a little editing to be .jpeg

  • @Grey7Cow hit expand on the video, so the quality gets better and hit the prnt scrn button on your keyboard, then go to paint and right click and hit paste, then select the part you want with the square tool and right click and hit copy, make a new file and hit paste, then save it as a .jpeg.

  • @Grey7Cow gallica.bnf.fr/ark:/12148/bpt6k5754923d

  • Does anyone know anything about Mycale?

  • @aberdeen77777

“MYCALE: Magician who drew down the Moon by the strenght of her spells. She was the mother of the two famous Lapiths, Broteas and Orion” (Collin de Plancy, 'Dictionnaire Infernal')

  • You believe in demons? You actually "summoned" them?

    Lol, lol, lol!

    Get help!

  • The music is positivly WACKY!

  • @DarkArckana Do you see them as they are illustrated, right before your eyes?

  • @DarkArckana But....they're not real.

  • i prefer the prince of peace

  • bush @ 1:23 ....... j/k

  • interesting. supprised about lucifer though.

  • loved it

  • this music is giving me headaches, but I just love it!

  • great video!

what is the name of the soundtrack

  • Keith Jarrett, 'Shock, Scatter'

  • thank you man!

  • lol! I like that one. These illustrations are sweet.

  • Yes. Good pictures. But the music I do not like. But maybe it is suitable for this subject.

All in all a good work.

  • Bellissimo!

  • Questi disegni sono davvero fenomenali. Certo che la fantasia umana non ha limiti.

  • I love books of family...

    A authentic delight, thanks

  • Dedicato a caretto
