And I don't really care about NASCAR's worldwide attraction (you also got wrong that NASCAR races Nationwide in Mexico City and Montreal). I can't stress enough that a hell of a lot more people watch and go to NASCAR races than F1. They sold out DAYTONA on Sunday PLUS the people in the infield. I've even heard that there is more people in the infield than the 160,000 grandstand seats. You CAN'T compete with that.

The drivers hate it, the NHRA hates it. But Bruton Smith always gets his way. They built a 4 lane track in Vegas or Pheonix too. I'm on the fence on this one.

@69charger440sixpack For the past 15 yrs I have raced a 190 mph Super Comp car in NHRA. John Force & several others hated it, it's a small community everyone is close. Bruton Smith is a big man though & paid them well, so they showed up. NHRA is not liking this, there are safety issues. Bruton is pushing for sanctioned events. My guess is IHRA will go for it. It kills the 2 car rivalry & turns it into a NASCAR free for all. I not making anything up.
