I agree dude. Damn the audience. I never need to see a band live to appreciate their music. I much prefer to hear the tune and not see the band as it's happening. The impact is much greater I think.

Thanks for the post. ZZ Top is great, but this paticular song has a haunting quality. If you have ever been out late in west Texas, under the moon and stars with some Mescal under your belt, you would dig it even more.

@stevenk113 Billy Gibbons remixed the drums for all ZZ Top SixPack, f'ed it up IMO...the original versions on LP are way superior. Don't know what he was thinking(he wasn't).

I'm not much of a ZZ Top fan (besides Sharp Dressed Man, of course), but I heard this song on Bones and it fit so perfectly with the scene that I laughed my head off. Good song. They sound great, but I can't stand most of their songs with stupid lyrics.

@spacegasp - this version is a remix from the "Six Pack" box set (first six records were remastered)- washy & full of reverb. I'll take the old, scratchy vinyl versions any day...
