  • Cool footage, that last shot was great, seeing all the different faces.

  • the black guy at 2:24 was looking too cool lol

  • I was a rigger, they could be jumping a chute i packed 20 years ago. Wish I was there

  • 3 more years.

  • Why do they use the old method of sky diving?

  • Nice video. Brings back lots of memories of when I served with the 82nd. And for those wanting to know where the weapons are, townclutz99 is right on the money. M1950 weapons cases on their left side. This is not a combat jump. If it were, it would have been conducted at night and a lower altitude...500'. And their rucks aren't all that big which tells me they aren't loaded down with extra ammo etc. If you don't jump....don't hate. And yes..pulling in "D" bags sucks..Been there done that!! :o)

  • 00:50 the ONLY thing I hate about being a Jumpmaster. Pulling those deployment bags in SUCKS.

  • where is there guns lol???!

  • @chase1953 their rifles are packed in a bag. they don't jump with their rifles out.

  • Maybe MRALOHAGLOCK missed the part with M1950s strapped to their sides...

  • SO how come the dude in the tan jumpsuit at 2:39 has his flag patch on his left shoulder instead of the right ?

  • @kellark12 airforce

  • Lies, where are are rifles??? this is training somewhere in the US!!

  • @MRALOHAGLOCK Their rifles are in a case strapped to their left side. Look closely you can see them. BTW the case is called an M1950 weapons case. Google it. This is 1st Brigade of the 82d Airbonre jumping IN Iraq. If you think it's somewhere here in the US then where do you THINK it is?

  • much respect from your buddy up north ! keep safe and fuck the hojies up !

  • So where were the Iraqi's at? This video is false advertizing

  • EVERY JUMP IS A NIGHT JUMP!!

  • God, I love you men and women that serve our great country U.S.A.! Some people in America do not understand what great steps of DANGER you all face in training and in War! They do not realize the price that was paid for them to have these freedoms. I want to cry when I see these videos. I am a 39 year old man and it chokes me up when I see you doing such brave acts. You people are the best and I can not thank you enough. Thank you for my freedom!

  • That's right. We die and go to hell, regroup and do it all again because thats the kind of folks we are. 82 ABN DIV.

  • I met a guy that made a night jump into Iraq. The unit came from Italy. If I remember right it was the 173 ABN. What the hell give 'em credit for good intentions. lol

  • There has only been 1 combat jump this war... they for sure werent it

  • same here full gear all the time.. where are are my old friends ..? cause you know we don't die we just go to hell and regroup ......82nd all the way..!!!

    ]\

  • Dude with sun glass's jumping with style Hooah!!!

  • where is their gear and guns? i cant see them on the paratroopers

  • @gimburg1 It's called a "hollywood" jump, no gear just parachute. It was hardly ever the case in my unit. Full combat jumps are usually at night and with ruck and weapon ( sometimes additional equipment) and they suck balls so if you got on day jump like this you almost forget that it's a shitty static line jump. Almost.

  • Simple tips: Never look down! just go straight and weeee

  • @ASIANBOYZPRODUCTION When I was a Cadet of the Royal Canadian Army Cadets, I attended a Paratrooper Summer training course at TA/ACSTC (Trenton Air/Army Cadet Summer Training Camp) which is Across the way from RCAFB Trenton, Looking down helped a lot, because it reminds you how much closer you are to the ground. I unfortunatly did not pass the course as I dropped out because I nearly got killed when my chute failed to open, But when I get outta the Reserves and... p1/2

  • @ASIANBOYZPRODUCTION outta the Reserves and go Reg Force, I'll be going for the Airborne, Because it's a hell of a lot of fun. My point is, Looking down helps quite a lot.

  • I wouldnt jump those guys got balls if you ask me.. you would have to land for me to get out of the plane

  • what is the sector where they jumped? I pressume not hot area?

  • What type of aircraft are they jumpn out of......looks too narrow to be a 130........maybe a 123?

  • @nwosukz

Its the Herc (C-130) Just configured with center jump seats. Kinda splits the cargo bay in half. That's probably why it looks so different to you.

  • If a paratrooper jumps without a weapon, it means he's intending to tear the enemy's ass up with just his bare hands. 82nd Airborne, 1/505, Recondo. 1969.

  • @colorado694 that is the funniest comment ever :')

  • can anyone tell me who is that guy at :53 the one with the helicopter helmet. wat is he?

  • @RudolphTHE1st93 Depends really, if it's training he could be instructor. If it's not then he could just be the guy that helps people out and closes/opens door. Or he could be a door gunner :l

  • @RudolphTHE1st93 hes the crewmaster from the air force, when jumping de give control to the army jump master

  • @RudolphTHE1st93

He is an Air Force Loadmaster.

  • This was the worst jump of my life.

  • @Bounding4miles winds were way too high, tore my shit up pretty good

  • second to last man at 2:26 doesnt even look at the saftey just throws it

  • why didnt they jump with flaks?

  • 2 dislikes were from legs after their women left them for paratroopers.

  • wow....not much has changes since world war 2, exept for the type of plane

  • @Davis4037 ...and the type of parachute. ^^

  • This is his first jump in Division also known as his cherry blast. Up until this point he's been a five jump chump only completing his 5 jumps from Airborne school. They may be jumping in Iraq, but I guarantee this isn't a tactical jump, it's just a proficiancy jump over a secured DZ. They wouldn't be jumping in the middle of the day if it was. And yes they do have weapons. Watch 1:53, that thing under his arm is his weapons case. Don't miss jumping those C-130. Don't ride my pack tray cherry.

  • Is it bad that I was praying for a static line injury.

  • And body armor.. etc..

  • You jumped into Iraq without gear or a weapon? heh

  • its really retarded they he jump is first time over iraq..or you mean that it is is first time jumping IN iraq

  • @GoldenTagachi Are you shitting me? Yeah he's part of the Airborne without jump training. Go back to grade 5 kiddo.

  • @JacobClaytonWilson what? are you stupid? jumping for the first time over enemy territory is really stupid...

  • @GoldenTagachi You're an idiot for even thinking that he did not have previous training.

  • @GoldenTagachi WHAT THE FUCK?! haha everyone else was commenting so I thought I had to too.

  • Why no gloves, they used to be required when a drop was performed.

  • Why no wepons?

  • @wasteom Hollywood jump I guess.

  • fearless motherfuckers

  • when i jumped into egypt with the 82nd, i then realized how dumb some of the other nations were (my first hand opinion). germans were cool and some egyptians, but kuwait and pakistan were a train wreck.

  • weee!!

  • When I went to the jump school in 1967, the training was very tough. We went to the bed past midnight and then about 3 o'clock the black hats woke us up and made us run and do a lot of pt and then around 5 o'clock they did the same thing again . I never had more than 3 hours sleep per night. They gave us less than 10 minutes to finish our chao at the mess hall. We double-timed everywhere. My jump pay was 55 dollars per month and my spec 4 pay was about 150 dollars, and I got paid once a month.

  • @DumbHonkie1 thats compared to ranger school now (from what ive heard). i went in 06 but it wasnt very tough at all, if you werent a runner now thats a different story. good ol' fort benning.

  • @Eushawn20 I don't know about you man. For me, the hardest part at the jump school was the lack of sleep. The running part didn't bother me but many guys couldn't keep up .

  • @DumbHonkie1 You woudn't recognize the Patches building if you were taking a shit inside it.

  • @MrSaaba01 I don't understand why they made the jump school a lot easier.

  • This is so called Hollywood Jump which means jumping WITHOUT equpment, but only with a weapon. You see the paratroopers carrying their weapons in the weapon case that is placed lengthwise under the left armpit. I was in the 82nd from 1967 thru 1968. AIRBORNE ALL THE WAY!!!!!!

  • @DumbHonkie1 not to argue or start a fight but nowadays jumping with just a weapon is called "combat lite", just parachutes is hollywood. EVERY DAY!!!!!!

  • @PARATROOPERGEE Thank you for the information. When I was un the 82nd in the 60s, I never heard of "combat lite".

  • The face on the short 3rd guy was too funny

  • how do these people do this without getting scared terribly i would have pissed myself

  • see the look on the guys face at 2:26 he's what fuck have i gottin myself into? priceless

  • such anger.... jeez... i dont think ive ever seen a jump with just a weapon...

  • Rangers are at rip for a month and guys that go for sf are there for a year an a half to two years. So they're not the same.

  • What are the carabiners for when they clip them to the chord? please reply

  • @ZeRoSkatesZeRo Thats attached to the static line and when you jump it pulls the chute for you. Hopefully thats the thing your talking about. you seen them kink it so it doesn't "pre" pull before they get out.

  • @Bouchaneusmc Oh thx and that is what i was talking about

  • @baldwinjackson41 No it´s not. They carry no weapons!

  • Pick up your chutes and follow me....

    Airborne Infantry.

Does anyone know who would have made a tactical combat jump in the last 10 years?

    Some requirements though:

Can't be SF. It can't be into a place that's not on the news.

  • @Ribeyeangus I always wanted to make one. Para forever!

  • @Ribeyeangus Rangers in Afghanistan.

  • @Ribeyeangus 173 Airborne in Iraq and Rangers are technically SF

  • @JokerFiveActual 173rd are technically faggots

  • @PARATROOPERGEE Your a faggot you jackfuck, 173 or back in 94 the 3-325 are romp stompin killin freaks, and You dont HAVE to lower your weapon you pussy. I got 63 ,29 out of jets from 1st Brigade 82d.,and 508 or 173 and 3-325! how many U got shitneck? thought so...U fart stain,.Perpetrator

  • @Devil3R I usually wouldn't respond to a moron like you who cant spell and doesn't know grammar but today I will make an exception. 3-325 is probably the most shitbag filled unit in the army. I love how cherries who haven't seen any combat or done anything during a military career always try to show off by typing their whole lame ass resume. " Oh I have a million jumps...Oh I was at FOB Liberty and almost got hit by a rocket." etcetera, etcetera. By the way, everybody has jet jumps cherry!

  • @PARATROOPERGEE My son is VDV. That's Russian Airborne. I'm a MiG pilot, But, You should stop arguing and get along.

  • @LeksMishka In Soviet Russia, MiG flies you.

  • @PARATROOPERGEE Ah-Hah-Hah-Hah. Last I checked it hasn't been Soviet Russia since 1991, Friend.

  • @LeksMishka Na Zdorovie, Comrade.

  • @VoelligHarmlos they all have weapons on in their 1950's. fucking cherry

  • @PARATROOPERGEE That´s bullshit! They would jump at night if it was a combat jump. And: There ARE no weapons, du Pseudopara

  • @VoelligHarmlos they all have fucking weapons in the fucking M1950 weapons cases secured under their left arm. you dont jump holding a weapon in you hand like the fucking movies, you jump with your weapon tied under your arm and you lower it below you before you land so you dont crack a rib. dont talk about shit of which you know nothing. cherry.

  • @PARATROOPERGEE I know that! I was a paratrooper when you were in kindergarten, you fucking fuck! This is NOT a fucking combat jump!

  • @VoelligHarmlos THEY ALL HAVE WEAPONS YOU CHERRY FUCK.

  • @PARATROOPERGEE Really? Then why is the first jumper (watch at 0.15 min) NOT carrying any weapons or baggage? This (watch?v=tFk6BmHEROE&feature=related) is what a combat jump looks like!

  • @VoelligHarmlos watch at 0.09 and you can see all of the jumpers with their weapons on their right side. lol

  • @PARATROOPERGEE Ok, some carry weapons but not all. So it´s not a combat jump anyways, :-)

  • @PARATROOPERGEE and no.... not all of them have weapons... watch the last 2-3 jumpers. plus the 1950weapons case is worn on the left side d-ring. and wouldnt be on their right sides......

  • @VoelligHarmlos Whats the highest jump you have done?

  • @Mavrickr 400 meters

  • very cool

  • dang i'd be scared haha

  • Hahahaah they jump out with the most straight face ever.....lmao if i jumped out of that id be like "MAMA NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO"

  • Hot Damn...82 (Eighty Deuce) on the loose!!! Airborne 82nd from SSG Thomas, USA, 5th Special Forces Group (Airborne) 1990-2000

  • *Jumps out of plane* "Oh shit, we're over minefield...and popping flares...and I forgot my parachute"

  • isnt the officer the first out?

  • @specter96 No the commanding officer is the last one out.

  • @popopopopopo8 Actually it depends on the assembly plan on the ground. He may be 1st or he may be 10th. In most cases the Commander will be the 1st out the door.

  • STAND UP! HOOK UP! AIRBORNE! FOLLOW ME!

    HOOAH!!

  • crazy!! it sucks if you're visually impaired and are or will be part of the military (using glasses to see far out)

  • that jump was so much fun!!

check out my helmet cam jump! i was 2nd stick

  • @xRainMakeRx96, as long as your eye pro is tied to your head, is good, 82nd rules!

  • 20 years ago I was a paratrooper and the jumps was the only thing I dug about being in the Army.

  • I bet the first jump of your life is a scary rush

  • hell yeah

  • If i could, I'd parachute right down into the middle of a firefight and snipe while freefalling....

  • @AndyGotzSkillz this aint a game -.-

  • If you could you wouldn't.

  • @AndyGotzSkillz stop dreaming about video games!

  • got a question. what do you do if you wear glasses? won't they fall off with all that air shooting at you when you're going out?

  • @xRainMakeRx96 wear contacts

  • @MrCanadianandproud ....they don't allow contacts in the army, too much dust and debree in the air :/

  • Comment removed

  • @xRainMakeRx96 No contacts are allowed in the Army, they just aren't allowed down range, and its not just becuase of dust n shit, if you get cuaght in an explosion on patrol, lets say an ied for instance, the flash burn/ sudden heat can melt the contacts to your eyes.

  • @xRainMakeRx96 ya i have glasses as well, I wonder how that'd work

  • Usually if your vision is not up to par, you won't even be able to qualify for combat trades, but support or admin. Vision correction will fix that.

  • @poncho2211 at 1:41 - 1:43 the guy is wearing glasses but i'm wondering if they're perscription or not you know?

  • yeah I see what you are talking about

  • Hell yeah, im planning on joining ariborne if i join the army, jumping off a perfectly good airplane

  • i think the were excited

  • That looks so fun!

  • some BALLS

  • even today, i wouldn't jump into Iraq without my m4 or iba.

  • I dont think I would ever do that. Maybe if I join the parachute infantry...

  • all i could think of while watching this was the band of brothers episode when they were jumping on DDay

  • @Burky619 indeed me too.

    but question.

in alot of commericals and scenes they show quick clips of the Marines making their push in the landing craft.

is there an episode of that or was it just like a teaser for the show.

    i mean ill watch a show on the Army but its just . . . . .

they cant just tease us like that lmao

  • No doubt that takes Balls.
