I can't remember now if it was a sign on or another version of the sign off, but there was one that was a take-off of They Live. Guy going to work got the sunglasses off a bum, and then started seeing aliens and stuff from other dimensions. I think it ended with the same shots of the ship destroying Dahntan that're on the pinball machine in this one. I really wish I'd kept copies of this stuff!!!!! I miss WQEX!

I just watch a Spam a Lot commercial and told my wife a TV station used to play that song every might when they signed off. I used to want to hear it before I went to bed. It used to be a PBS station. she said you mean WQEX. Then I go to youtube and here it is. I still like it. Thanks for taking the time to post. And all together now "Always look on the Bright Side of Life".

i was just listening to this song and lo and behold somebody posted this old qex sign-off, as i had hoped. I haven't seen the whole thing (including the bar scene) since 1991. thanks for posting it i feel like im in college again!

I had almost forgotten about this sign-off, seeing as how it's been at least ten years since I've seen it. It's proof that public television folks have a sense of humor. WE need more like this one, says I.
