@zeekdavis11 you moron 5.5 seconds is REALLY slow for a boss 302. motortrend tested the BASE boss 302 and it got to 60 in 4 seconds. a full 1.5 seconds faster than the laguna seca? makes no sense

and you can see the guy isnt a very good driver. doesnt even launch it and takes forever to shift

@canadianfisherman11 I have a boss 302 2012. With a good driver the boss is good for a 0-100 km in 4.2 second and is a full 3 second faster around Laguna Seca raceway than a 2011 BMW M3. With slicks it's easy to run 11.70 on the quarter mile in stock form with the trackey activated ( the red key). The Boss in also good for 22 mpg. My source : my boss, Car and driver and Motor Trend

@sebastienh78 jesus christ dude! 4.2 seconds is INSANE. faster than any M3 I've driven. Sounds like the boss 302 competes basically directly with the M3, I will probably look at one sometime this summer for an upgrade! :D

@canadianfisherman11 Yes awsome car. This summer I was looking to buy a 135i or a 1M but I got the chance to test drive the 3 cars. The handling and the sterring feel of the Boss is a lot better, the braking the accelaration the tq, the short throw shifter everything was better. A few years ago, I would never believe that a Mustang can outhandle a Bimmer. Listen to this video this is my car when I got it.

@canadianfisherman11 honestly the base 5.0 mustang GT is on par with the M3 (manual base car... the flappy paddle M3 is def a little quicker) in terms of performance. Sure the M3 offers a little better interior quality, but i prefer the style of the interior on the Mustang. They really are awesome cars. My next stang will be 2011+ for sure.

Mustang Boss? Pfffffff... Nothing with a 302 should be called "boss". Remember the 1969 boss? That was a fucking RULER!! with the 429. Put a 7.0 or bigger and then, just then, call it a BOSS

@santopotter fail.... the point of the Boss was a high performance, low displacement small block car that can tackle the twisties. the Boss 429 was only good for straight lines.. it was too nose heavy to turn. if you want a powerful big block Mustang then shoot for the GT500. it aint a big block but with 550hp thats more than enough.
