Deck of the Month of July '09 Ancient Gears

The deck was a good base. Mine thought is much more competitive. Took out several top tier decks with it, including blackwing lightsworn and the such with ease. Mine uses the fusions heavily and quickly. Good luck with improving yours.

I have already improved the deck alot since I hace uploaded this video. Just watch the video again and you'll see an annotation that will show up on the bottom part of the video about 30 seconds in that if you click it will take you to the newer and better version of this deck.

Not that perfect... Remove the negate attack, AG fist, 2 AG tanks, spell gear, 2x Ag engineers add 2 power bonds, 1 more terraforming, 1 more giant rat and 2 bottomless trapholes. The Gaia power is a good idea for a backup.

Great fun deck, but if ya want this competitive:

drop : Ancient gears, soldiers and knights, and even your two golems (Ult. AG golem is great , yeah, but it takes luck, and if you fail, you're pretty much out of options), tank, castles, fist, explosive, factory, spell gear. and probably phoenixes as well.

add cards like :extra Terras, minefieldriller, an extra magical hat, bottomless trap holes, maybe gadgets for card advantage, cyber dragon, limiter removal ( how could ya forget this?)and such.

Thanks but I don't have any cards like ancinet gear knight or geartown and I only have 1 polymerization and thats for my dragon deck so if you can trll me where I can get these cards in Canada, Edmonton that would be a great help cause I might be getting ultimate ancient gear golem

Dude sorry but I have to say that this deck sucks. It needs lots of improvements before becoming a real tournament deck. Take out those crap like AG soldier, Ancient gear, AG engineer. Instead add 3 copies of geartown, 3 AG golem and 3 AG gadjiltron dragon. Then put fusions like ultimate ancient gear golem and power bond in your deck

I did not have Power Bond at the time nor Ultimate Ancient Gear Golem.

Secondly I do have 3 Geartown if you would've watched into the video long enough.

Also if you don't remember that when Geartown is on the field you can summon AG's with 1 less tribute and that means that you can summon AG Beast & Engineer with NO tributes.

sorry but this deck needs alot of work to be competitive i know you said it was a fun deck but...wow...i use ancient gears competitively and they really are good..if you have a fast, swarming, otk deck.

it's good to see a decent budget player, keep it up.

I'd add a heavy to use in conjunction with geartown even though you run a lot of continuous spell cards and take out negate attack for a threatening as negate is more conditional.

I thought about it, but I already made the video. Threatening Roar, I did not have a spare to put in, so I had to substitute with Negate Attack.
