Well- ABBA was always regarded as the "Swedish Beatles"; and just like what Paul said as well as Benny and Bjorn that they wanted quality songs on their albums, not just filler music; they all wanted their albums to be well crafted. Both Abba and the Beatles were well ahead of their time. I think Abba pioneered the beginning of music video before it was even popular, remember Waterloo and Mamma mia? That was way before it got popular.

How is it when the Beetle broke up Paul went on to form Wings and had hit after hit; John Lennon also had several great songs after the Beetles and so did George Harrison. Abba had amazing music and the voices to match the songs but now after the break up, the music just doesn't cut it, it's dull and boring. No substance. Frida has the better voice and more range; Agnetha needs better quality music to match her personality.

Because Benny and Bjorn of Abba wrote all the MUSIC to the songs of ABBA. They probably arranged much of it too. Agnetha and Anna-Frida are not music writers, and certainly aren't arrangers, so they have to take the music they get from their friends and business partners that write music for them.
