Ulf was the better athlete. Everyone that participated in this event was on steroids (a few exceptions) But clearly he was more explosive and focused then Barnes. He put everything he had into that last through and nearly fouled. Amazing competition. We'll probably never see something like this again.
This meet was bullshit Barnes had the gold stole. There is no way you can break the world record 3 times and not be taking steroids. Ulf Timmerman was on roids.
