I love the sound of monks singing but when I go to the dungeons ( they play it in the background ) and then I listen to it again at home, it freaks me out =) xxx
You listen to this in one of those ancient churches with great acoustics if you do not cry you are either demon possessed or mentally ill. The voices envelop your spirit and God manifests himself through your ears. There is a God. He wrote this chant.
Have you ever been present in a room with chanting monks? Do you know the the feeling that you get when the voices begin to surround you and enter you being? The vibrations that come from the chanting are so healing I swear I never had migraines again. It could be my better eating:) or maybe the beautiful monks I heard that day
@hellangelassia I had Auto-Immune Deficiency Syndrome, with a glioblastoma on my right frontal lobe. I saw the monks in person, and one of them smiled at me. A nice man, a bit balding, with a generous smile. My brain injury went away and my viral load almost disappeared! I was healed by the power of song on that day.

Also to point out for people..at least every month i hear of someone converting to other faiths...like the parable of the sower...those seeds that grew amongst the thorns choked and were strangled so didnt grow. This represents those people..they do not practice their faith..and grow weak because they don't find their answers due to them not practicing..in Christianity we arent forced to pray because we dont need to be forced...we should pray anyways so that we can show that we have faith.
To the other christians and religious people here..simply saying your catholic, protestant, orthodox even islamic doesnt go far or could even be considered as actual if you dont pray..sure you pray when your in need or something but dont you reckon it would be worth it to thank god for having nothing bad happen to you? or to be fortunate enough to not be scraping the scraps from bins in the streets?...if we pray and practice our faith more..we will strengthen it..

I was years looking at music stores, buy some and nothing; now got it without wanting it to me. I work at a childcare, and we listen to this CD at our nap time. The hard part isn't getting our two-year-olds to sleep, it's hard to stop from falling asleep ourselves! This just goes to show how relaxing this music is.

My mother who was born in the 1950s in Europe used to hear the monks singing in the cathedral during Holy Communion and after Holy Mass. She said it was extra special--I fully agree and wish I could have been alive at this time to witness such beauty and purity.

I work at a childcare, and we listen to this CD at our nap time. The hard part isn't getting our two-year-olds to sleep, it's hard to stop from falling asleep ourselves! This just goes to show how relaxing this music is.

My mother who was born in the 1950s in Europe used to hear the monks singing in the cathedral during Holy Communion and after Holy Mass. She said it was extra special--I fully agree and wish I could have been alive at this time to witness such beauty and purity.
