wot does peter richardson do now? he is a bloody genius film maker. for me his car action scenes are always a highlight but his dramatic moments were also eerily haunting. i haven't seen gino since it was originally broadcast but it seems so powerful still and the low budget format has stopped it aging as much as i'd expected. if this is your first foray into his work may i recommend 'mr jolly lives next door' and particularly the comic strip movie 'supergrass'.
He was the best. The real comic genius out of all of them. Wrote and directed the majority of the Comic Strip. Reportedly fell out with the director of The Young Ones (replaced by Christopher Ryan) and that was that. Fame and fortune passed him by. But he will always be my favourite. His charachter acting in The comic Strip is superb (Al Pacino, Miguel, Tiny Townsend, Julian). Awesome.
thank you!
