But later on we see that ichigo even with his mask and bankai just manages 2 kill banka grimmjow, yet kempachi manages 2 defeat espada number 4. also before ichigo beat ikkaku without that much damage but when he fought renji he almost died. later on we see the renji actually asked ikkaku to show him how 2 fight. this would state that he is stronger. Also there is a very small chance that renji got stronger then ikkakku coz
