@Hlessirah I think that was rather the point. The only difference between Birdgirl's disguise and Batgirl's is that Batgirl doesn't have an uncontrollable habit of shouting her secret identity into megaphones. And she's ALMOST at that point.

What doesn't make sense is Dora giving Batgirl her dad's key earlier. Why help Batgirl discover who did it when you are the one who did it? She could have simply said she had to follow orders and Batgirl had to leave. The worst that would happen is Batgirl would leave and then come back later.

OK, I understand that Batgirl figured out that Gordon was a robot because he had no idea that Salma was previously a man.

However, Gordon could have been protecting Salma by pretending to not know. Then, Batgirl would have killed her father! :P

Yep, I'm much more of a bag than Batgirl. When she was holding her up by her shirt I would have kicked her in the face. She had a perfect shot.

I love how everyone is talking about bad disguises and costumes and no one is pointing out the fact that Ivy doesn't even bother hiding her identity. xD

Actually probably the best disguise of all. Harley and Catwoman and even Batgirl are instantly recognizable in costume while Poison Ivy is a cute redhead in a one piece outfit. She is more likely to be overlooked. This is why criminals don't wear costumes in RL.

@livingwill1 if we're going for that angle then yes I agree she would be more overlooked. However I doubt she'd EVER be overlooked. xD but if we're going for the idea of concealing an idenity...no mask, no make up, just that lil' one piece outfit? Her ID isn't disguised.

True, she could use make up and a uniform. I remember a couple of times Harley wore a police uniform and people didn't look at her twice. That actually makes sense. Harley is definitely brighter in the Animated Series than here. Once she almost killed Batman. He even says she was closer than Joker ever was.

@livingwill1 Yeah I can't remember the episode name but she had Batsy strung up over the pirana tank and would have polished him off but he toyed with her mind. Truth of the matter was Joker showed up and saved Bats by shoving poor Harl out a window :( It upsets me that people always portray her as stupid. She's goofy, not dumb. Hell in Harly and Ivy she pulls off a diamond heist like a pro and Ivy the "smart one" trips the alarm stealing plant toxics. Really?

It is the episode called "Mad Love". Joker got pissed because she tried to kill him and he wants to do it himself. I think I saw the one you are talking about. She backflips her way through alarms like she was Catwoman and then Ivy trips the alarm. She then smashes the glasss instead of cutting it to grab the diamond. With the alarm tripped that is the smart thing to do as it is quicker.

I know they really dumbed her down in this series. We are talking about someone who nearly kills Batman. This makes her FAR from stupid. She is certainly way more sane than the Joker is but that isn't saying much. It is like saying you can run faster than a 100 year old in a walker, this isn't exactly hard to do.

I almost never wear contacts and I have really curly hair, so one day I actually put in contacts, slicked my hair back, trimmed the beard a little, and wore an outfit I almost never put on. Nobody recognized me for about half-a-day. So yeah, people ARE that stupid.

Batgirl must have the second worst disguise in comics. Her facemask covers only half her face and she should stick her long, red hair under her cap. It would make it a liffle more difficult. Red hair is uncommon.
