The reason why he's so anti union is: he never belonged to one, worked for peanuts his whole career, no pension plan, dick benefits. It's sour grapes when he knows bus drivers make over twice as much as he does and will be able to retire. LG will be buried with a wireless mic so a radio show can be done with sound of maggots feeding.
During his radio show, sometimes he makes very good points and is absolutely correct about the issues. But often the show devolves into the same point over and over and over again. And at times he just comes across as a fat-ass big mouth. But it's all part of the schtick.

A)Newsflash Lowell, other countries also have access to electricity and communications.
B)The Taliban sacrificed its own Muslims and you think this is something new?
C)The soldiers are ALREADY at risk...because of where they are and the theatre. The Taliban aren't going to kill MORE of our soldiers because we have an active democracy...if so other countries would have more casualties than we.
