@NanciePants68.... I didn't get into DMB until 2006 and then a co-worker who worked at a record store on the weekends, would bring me all their cds. You should get all their albums! Once you start listening to the music, it just make you feel good. I even got the DVD of their music videos. Trust me, you will love them as much as I do and I'm black.

Dave Matthews Band is so different. They have so many different styles. They can be hard rock, super peaceful, a little weird, and still maintain awesome sounds with melodies that get lodged in your head like an anchor at the bottom of the ocean...Dave Matthews is a straight up genius. @juliamem i'm 16 and i understand DMB just fine, my moms been listening to it since before i was born and i've head it every day since i was a baby. if music is good it relates to all generations and this music is not just good its amazing.
for those would be musicians or any one aspiring to know about music, this song embodies soulful sounds that can only come from real musicians. The arcade fire might be the flavor of the month right now, but those clowns can't compare to DMB on their worst day.

Dave Matthews Band is so different. They have so many different styles. They can be hard rock, super peaceful, a little weird, and still maintain awesome sounds with melodies that get lodged in your head like an anchor at the bottom of the ocean...Dave Matthews is a straight up genius. You almost have to love the guy.

@chrome157944 those guys(arcade fire) are posers, i love music any music as long as it moves me. the vibe i get when i see those guys is that they are produced beyond recognition. maybe to you and everyone else they are the best thing out here but to me they are passe

dmb is early 2000's music, if you're just entering high school now in 2011 of course you're not gonna understand it, it's "generation y" music, I'm down with dmb, born in 1983...it sets the mood perfectly

@juliamem i'm 16 and i understand DMB just fine, my moms been listening to it since before i was born and i've head it every day since i was a baby. if music is good it relates to all generations and this music is not just good its amazing.

for those would be musicians or any one aspiring to know about music, this song embodies soulful sounds that can only come from real musicians. The arcade fire might be the flavor of the month right now, but those clowns can't compare to DMB on their worst day.
