@THX1205 Yes it did, but the fire was caused by homeless persons living in it. I use to have pictures I took of it in the mid 80;s but they dissappeared.

OH MAN that's the whole movie right there. need not watch the whole thing unless you enjoy being lied to and movies with no plots whatsoever. DON'T GO XANADU STAY RIGHT WHERE YOU ARE

@satyrinae What do you mean lied to???? The plot of the movie is great. People back then just did'nt understand it because it was ahead of it's time. It also did not do good back then because the US was in a bad recession and the film was only shipped out to less than 400 theaters, originally it was suppose to went out to every theater but the recession held it down.

Gotta love Olivia, and this movie was great fun. In addition to Gene Kelly, the hunk of yesteryear, this is quite the zany romp.

My best guess is Olivia will be showered with praise since the Broadway show and the movie cult club have made Xanadu a smash.
