Some think brutal killers should be clothed fed, excersized, and provided TV for the rest of their days at huge cost to society, cos it's inhumane to "humanely stun them", while it's OK to derive pleasure from eating a poor animal who has done you no wrong, hasn't hurt anyone and felt pain like you do, and should have the fundamental universal right to be left alone to its natural ways.

Notice how the question "Is the killing humane?" was just grazed over? Of course everyone wants to hear that --- But nothing "humane" happens on a kill floor. There is no "need" to kill/eat these animals --- Then how can it be "humane"? Go Vegan for a better world.

NOT EVERY FARMER IS LIKE THIS! Some are shut heads, others like us keep our animals in the best care. Yes we do have to send some for meat, but we use a small butcher who kills then with no pain.

Kudos to Gene Baur for giving facts while John Lang is vague. This is the agribusiness' way of blanketing what they feel so certain the public will believe. To hitchjr: When Gene was married in 1989, he combined his last name, 'Baur' with that of his spouse to make 'Bauston'. He is now divorced and has returned to his original family name, Baur.
