Nice Edit.The strike against the providence was true tho, but lieutenant Mu la flaga was in it, not kira. At 1:00 when Yzak said "did i get him" and that part was when duel thought he shot Kira down, but didn't then he got shot by Kira. At 1:09 when dearka was shooting, he was shooting at mu la flaga. 1:50, Nicol was dodging the bullets from the archangel. That split second of providence flying through someone was actually the strike, not blitz. At 1:55, Nicol got sliced in half by sword strike.

I'm assuming this is Special Edition footage. This is because we don't normally see this stuff as the Blitz was destroyed beforehand, Mu was in the Strike, which was damaged along with the Buster, the Duel was eliminating the druggies with that railgun, and Kira was in the Freedom. Not to mention that the Providence's arm wasn't damaged. All that happened in the standard TV series.

@0blivionShadow You don't seem to understand the concept of crossovers and a NEXT could destroy a Gundam easy... but not an AC. ACs themselves aren't that threatening, it's NEXTs you need to worry about.

DRAGOONS are the poor man's (as in no newtype) Funnels... but DAMN i was happy when finally this kind of weapon appeared on the series! It made the two last episodes so awesomes!!

@Terrance677 Providence's philosophy is the best offense is a good defense so you're right it actually wouldn't be very fair. Providence is a really slow mobile suit and to top it off its shield is small and better fit for attacking rather then defending. The only thing it has going for it is that it's able to use DRAGOONs to prevent a mobile suit from getting in close and disabling it. It's actually a very, very difficult mobile suit to use in contrast to Freedom which is pretty simple.

@ApostleSatanail Yeah...wouldn't that explain why the killing stroke to Rau ended up being Kira plowing the Freedom in so close that he was able to stab Providence through the cockpit with his beam saber (because Providence can't really defend itself at point-blank range, like in melee)? Even so, that was a huge gamble on Kira's part-- there was no guarantee that Freedom would survive bombardment by the DRAGOONs long enough to get close enough to Rau to spear him like that.
